The mage was dressed in flowing and ornate blue robs and he had a tiny deep blue top hat resting on his head slightly slanted. After storing away Kabel he jumped back onto his broomstick but before he could take off a massive fleshy creature sprinted torwards him different from the that attacked Kabel and alot less powerful. Even still it charged at the man making seem insignificant.
It was as tall as man and looked like a jumping skinned rabbit with large bloodshot eyes. The mage merely smiled he said seemingly to no one "Hey I can't waste time on this guy can you take over here? Pretty please?" Just behind the mutated rabbit what looked like a mass of static appeared behind it.
In the very next secend the beast was crushed into the floor being completely flattened into a pancake. The mage started too take off while shouting at the static "Thank you! I owe you one!". The mage picked up speed fast and soon he was moving so fast the ground blurred beneath him and if not for the broomsticks enchantment the wind pressure would've ripped him too shreds.
Soon the mage left the forest and entered an area of tall grass that reached the hight of two people. As he went futher and futher in the grass got taller and taller. Soon it reached higher than most trees yet the futher he went the more they grew. Eventually it got too a stopping point but by then the grass resembled a forest more than grass. Due to its size the grass was much less clumped together and vastly thicker.
Each blade reached around 40 meters at their highist cuasing the mage to veer upward. The mage looked into his stasis bag and saw that Kabel was getting worse despite the slowed time in the bag. He speed up and soon he saw the temporary base of all the mages moved here due to the mutated monster crisis. The mage city of Alahara and the home of Ribleratti den of growth mages.
Massive blades of grass bigger dozens of times bigger than all the others all formed a massive tightly tied knot in the sky. Each blade of grass was dozens of meters thick and hundreds of meters tall. He approached the knot and passed through one of few gaps to enter into a city of wood and nature.
Alahara had a comeplex structure with many buildings being built on the twsiting and winding structure inside. No matter where you were standing you could see the upside down buildings and even some built on the side however this wasn't a problem as gravity enchantments were also part of the buildings.
The male mage raced through it and went too the very center as fast as he could. As he got closer the mana in the air got denser and denser and soon he reached a building that resembled a wood skyscraper. He flew his broomstick too the front entrance and went by foot. Many other mages were leaving and arriving in many different way but the mot common was a broomstick like the mages. He walked inside and was welcomed happily by everyone in there. His face brightend as he spotted a nearby mage with deep black scars all over both her hands but none could be seen on her delicate but cold face.
"Lancy! Oh long has it been, too long too long how about we catch up just right after you do me a favour and heal this kid all hush hush though" she looked at him unamused and sighed. She walked over too a seemingly flat wall made out of thick branches. Soon they retracted and revealed a tight space just enough to fit two people side by side.both Lancy and the mage walked into it and as the branches closed the floor under their feet opened up as they felt like they slide down but their sense told a much more mystical explanation. They dropped down too a smaller room that looked like a living quarters. The only room that had walls was the bathroom and you could see the entire living space just by standing in the middle.
"On the bed now" The mage smirked as he quiped "Me or the kid?" She then decided to walk straight back out into the wall as the branches retracted again ready to take her away from the fool. "Ah! Wait wait calm down please you owe me!" He quickly took Kabel out of the statis chamber and his limbless and burnt body was placed on his bed.
She walked over with curiosity in her eyes but didn't ask any questions. She summoned her mana and used it too twist the laws of growth to make Kabel's body heal at an absurd rate. She grabbed a scalpel and ripped away the burnt skin and set his broken bones so they healed right.
Soon his torso was back to normal and sweat formed on her forehead. "How do you wanna do the limbs? He have any modifications?" The mage simply shrugged and said that he didn't more than she did. She smacked her palm into her face as she commanded him "Rolph give me a mana potion and apply that magic of yours onto me" He smiled and tossed a vial filled with a blue liquid and what seemd to be a human fetus in it to Lancy. She promptly drank the entire thing as Rolph casted a magic that made the world's laws much weaker.
This was the magic that made him so popular. He cultivated the magic of weakening specialising in weakening the laws of the world making magic much easier too be cast as magic itself was just twisting the laws of the world. Lancy then grabbed a syringe filled with a strange white liquid where blue specs floated in it and she injected it in the healed over parts of his limbs.
She then grabbed her scalpel and cut the healed over skin off on all four parts where his limbs should have been. She then readied her mana and begain injecting it into Kabel. First his bone sprouted out and grew into the full Skelton he needed. After that his nerves, muscle and skin quickly followed and grew back. However before the skin on his fingers and toes were done growing she had to stop and collapsed too the floor.
"Who's kid did you bring too me?" Too which Rolph just said "No questions renember" She grunted and tried to stand up but couldn't so she sent a tiny amount of her remaining mana too command the branchs to make a chair for her. "I ran out of mana but the rest he can heal on his own I'll give you some bandages and ointment too take away as an extra since I couldn't heal him all the way" Rolph smiled "I'm sure he'll be happy to hear that, theres not a mage in training or no that hasn't heard about the zombie saviour of Ribleratti!" She gave him a stone cold look which more than signed for him to get out. He quickly put the healed Kabel in his bag and backed into the wall where he sent his mana into the wall too take him too his private residence.
