The next day everyone started arriving at the Marrow house including Jasmine and Vesper, the closest friends of William. The cold wind around the abandoned place felt heavier than ever. Jasmine saw familiar faces standing in a circle, Ethan, Milo, and Victor. Everyone gathered with fear in their eyes.
"What… What happened?" Jasmine whispered, struggling to steady her voice.
Ethan stepped forward slowly. "Jasmine… it's William. He was found inside, ss… Someone has killed him."
Jasmine and Vesper covered their mouths, shocked while Milo and Victor placed a comforting hand on their shoulders. They all shook their heads in disbelief.
"Who would do that?" Ethan asked sharply, looking suspiciously everywhere. The group fell silent for a moment until Milo spoke up.
"Vesper, someone did have a problem with him."
Ethan turned around. "Who?" he asked. Vesper started looking at Jasmine.
"She did, they had just fought two days ago, remember?"
