Chapter 4 - PURPLE APPLE!

" Rosa! Wait up."

" Just leave it alone Ivan."

" Rosa, just listen to what I have to say would you."

" Ivan! I said let it go already."

" What are you talking about."

Is this girl still thinking about what happened earlier?

" You just walked pass Tom just now."

" Huh!."

" Hey sis."

" Wha--it's your fault."

Oh my.

She is still thinking about that.

" Come on let's go."

" Oh-kay my lady."

" Gross, don't call me that ever again."

Rosalind and Thomas have been my friends for a while now.

The first time we met was when walter just learned element magic and accidentally created a massive cloud of steam in the marketplace.

One of my favorite memories in this world.

It kept growing larger with every passing second, and I ended up hiding beneath one of the merchant stalls.

That's where I found Rosalind and Thomas.

And since then, I spent every waking moment with them.

Something about them makes me feel at peace.

They remind me of Misaki and Tanaka.

Well, the only difference is that I later found out those two started dating during our second year of high school.

So having two random sibling from another world that remind me of them…

Is crazy as hell

Part 2

The marketplace is loud as ever.

Located at the center of the village, it was always packed with merchants, adventurers and villagers going about their day.

At the very heart of it stood a large fountain.

Of course, it featured a statue of the Goddess of Magic.

Whoever sculpted this thing was a true artist because…

The craftsmanship was incredible.

Seriously.

The level of detail was unreal.

"Ivan, what do you think about this?"

Huh!

"Huh!"

"Are you even listening?"

Ah

Right.

I may have gotten a little too busy narrating the background to pay attention.

"Sorry, what?"

"I was saying that, this looks ripe and Tom said no. What do you think about it?"

Rosalind hold up a fruit.

The fruit looked like a purple egg with zebra-like patterns on it's skin. The surface felt like a apple…and it tested like one too.

But it grew larger than an apple and was far juicier as well.

And you could tell it was ripe by it's pattern. If the stripes were darker and more noticeable, then it was ready.

But this one, however, wasn't.

The colour was too light, and it was too small. The fruit only reached the size of a watermelon when fully grown.

"Tom is right, Rosa. it's not ready yet."

"Yeah, but if we leave it for a few days and then it could--"

"But father wants to eat it today."

Truth be told if they leave it for a few days--two or three--it would ripen perfectly.

After all, everything in this world uses mana as a source of life.

But I've met their father, and he is the kind of person who can't really wait.

It makes me wonder how he managed to wait for his children.

"Huh?"

A sudden push.

It's normal in a crowded place like this, but this…felt a bit too much.

Too rough.

"Whoa, what the hell?"

Wow

"I'm sorry."

Gold hair…and beautiful red eyes.

Who is this girl?
