Chosen are attracted to sinned souls. There is no Chosen that can resist the temptation of killing one.
What do they get after killing these sinned souls? Nothing really. Maybe a little satisfaction or thirst to kill even more or a little sustenance but that's it. There is nothing much to be gained after killing a sinned soul.
A Chosen won't grow stronger just by killing sinned souls. Or gain some unique powers or weapons or level up experience. It is just an addiction or a need with nothing much to be gain from it.
However, there is something else too. The thirst for kill doesn't end just at sinned souls. It can spread to humans or chosen. That's why many chosen specifically kills other Chosen. A Chosen would become a sinned soul after all.
Skin may not fall into that category. But she can't deny that killing another one of her kind isn't fun.
After killing half of the mountain sinned soul. Many chosen have given up on ever fighting it again. Due to being too injured to do it. Few are still chasing it.
These Chosen that may be chasing that soul could possess a blessing that is related to revelations. Or maybe ability to track certain powerful souls.
Different from these two there are Chosen that are hunting other Chosen just for fun. It does sound fun for Skin. But hunting the hunter sounds even more fun.
Skin throws her polearm and it hits another chosen in the neck. Despite the lethal hit. It doesn't look dead. The chosen even pulls out the polearm from his neck without much trouble. Then breaks Skin's polearm (Dicky) in half. That sure hurts in some way.
Skin moves forward with explosive speed and attacks her enemy with her nails and teeth. The fight between the two is animalistic.
One looked like an injured animal and other looked like a wrathful beast.
As the animalistic fight continues. The injured Chosen slips with his judgment and Skin takes that opportunity. She bites his neck and rips his windpipe off.
Her face and mouth fills with blood. On the ground, the injured chosen still is alive but can't breathe. Skin can just leave him there to die a slow and painful death.
But she is really angry as her Polearm (Dicky) was broken in half. That is a serious offense. She won't forgiven this Chosen even if it dies.
So, the next few minutes are spent ripping and tearing the Chosen's body into pieces. The Chosen has died a long time ago and turned into a sinned soul.
The sinned soul that born form the Chosen consist of an inhumane body proportion that towered over Skin. It is also impossible to tell any kind of features of the creatures.
Sinned souls have an oddity where their faces are not visible or understood by living things. It is basically because the face becomes so twisted that it shouldn't even be considered a face.
It is said that sinned souls hide their face through this oddity cause of shame of doing such a terrible sin. But it could be that Gods themselves have made it so it is impossible to see a face of a sinned soul. Nobody is sure why such oddity happens.
Whatever the case, such a creature is terrifying and dangerous. But unfortunately for the sinned soul. Skin's polearm (Dicky) has repaired itself in her hands.
She attacks its limbs and rips them apart before the sinned soul could understand what was even happening. Killing a Chosen and the sinned soul that comes out of it is a thrilling experience.
It is also easy to kill the sinned soul while it is being born. Taking them by surprise is a great way to kill. It like taking a candy from a newborn. It could also be said that she just killed an infant that was just super ugly.
Looking at the dead sinned soul. She felt satisfied and avenged her Dicky. If Dicky could speak it would be happy and praising her for being so super.
On the side lines, Man-man watched her kill the sinned soul. There were no expressions to be seem. Observing her is a great way to measure her combat ability and he has gathered that she is just a monster with no particular special skill. She is just very violent.
"There you are Man-man. So, how do you do, my dear? Anything special and fun?"
Man-man finds her irrational behavior even more odd. It hasn't even been a day and she wants to ask how is he doing already? He is same as before. Still hurt and bleeding form the inside cause of all the broken bones. Nothing much changed.
He thinks for a second and decides to go along with her question.
"I am fine. But wouldn't it have been better to not kill that man and ask him about the mountainous sinned soul?"
Skin replies.
"I could've done that. But he broke my Dicky in half. That is a crime punishable by death."
Man-man first question who or what is Dicky. But that realizes that she is talking about her weapon.
He also had damaged her weapon to a significant degree. What if it has broken in half? She would've totally killed him and tore him into pieces. He can't help but wonder if he had dodged a bullet.
"Well, whatever. He started it first. Give me a kiss and let's move to kill… I mean find more Chosen. Maybe we will find a one with a blessing of revelations."
Man-man just stares at her with expressionless face. It doesn't look like he wants the kiss. Is he grossed out cause of so much blood of another Chosen in her mouth? Skin can't tell.
"Your lose…"
They move and get ambushed few more times. Skin is loving it and Man-man isn't getting any chance of getting into the fight. Maybe it is good that he doesn't have to fight but he can't help but be annoyed.
This is the rare instance where there is a slight change in his facial expression. But unfortunately, she misses it.
How tragic.

Skin's rest of the day spend chasing random Chosen that dare to attack her or get in her way. She attacked them ruthlessly.
Don't worry though, she sometimes even asked, very nicely, about the location of the Mountain sinned soul. But she got nothing in return. Chosen rather fight than talk. However, she needs clue to reach her main target. So, she has to bite her tongue and ask about it. Even though nobody answers her questions.
"A productive day. Don't you think?"
Man-man has no expression on his face. But it is obvious to see that he is tired as he is on the ground and not moving.
It could be because his bones are literally broken and needs time and rest to heal properly. He was following Skin all day without making any progress in their mission to find the mountain soul.
He can't help but feel like he has found himself a bad partner for himself who would kill him if he were to leave.
After waiting for a response and not getting one. She continues speaking on her own.
"Did I tell you what God has chosen me? Want to guess?"
Man-man can guess that. She is way too energetic and have no patience for anything that she does. That are basically the signs for someone who is chosen by the Restless God.
There are total of six God. Listless God, Restless God, Fortuneless God, Guideless God, Soulless God and Shapeless God.
Every God's chosen is different form one another. Every chosen act differently based on the God that chose them. There isn't a real reason for Gods to choose humans. It still isn't clear why do these God torture humans by making a Chosen one.
It is a mystery. Or just a joke by the terrible Gods.
"Well? Did you guess Restless or not? You took so long to answer I couldn't wait. Be quick, Man-man."
She gave only five seconds for him to answer. Man-man have fought Restless Chosen. But she might be the most restless of them of all.
The rest of the time was spend with Skin talking and talking. Does she not need to sleep? Man-man is already half asleep but whenever he is about to fall into deep slumber. She bothers him and wakes him up.
A listless chosen sleeps a lot. For a listless chosen sleeping might be the most vulnerable time of the day for them. Most of them, even bury themselves inside the ground for a deep slumber.
Man-man has done it a lot. It isn't the most comfortable sleep but it is at least safe. He currently doesn't even care that he might be killed by Skin in his sleep. He rather be a dead man than be tortured like that.
Later, Skin also notices that her prisoner… correction, lover can't keep his eyes open anymore. Perhaps, it is time to sleep.
"Want to sleep on my lap?"
Man-man shakes his head left and right. He is too tired to speak.
But she disregards his choice and grabs him to put his head on her laps. That hurt few of his ribs but it is impossible to tell from his face. So, Skin is oblivious to it.
"Just sleep. I will watch."
Restless sleep with their eyes open. It is like they half-sleep. It is hard for them to sleep. They can even stay awake for two or three days. But sleeping is a refreshing thing so Skin always takes one hour of sleep just in case.
Man-man under the bright red eyes on lap of the monster sleeps like a dead man. He just doesn't care if she kills him. He just wants to sleep.
Skin on the other hand just watches his face like it is the most interesting thing in the world. It is also quite terrifying to be watched while you are sleeping.
Man-man though can't be bothered to do that. He is tired.
