Chapter 30 - Season 2 – Chapter 8: The Truth of the Final Gate

The glowing chamber became silent after Rahim's words.

Karim stared at him nervously.

"What do you mean… something dangerous?"

Rahim looked at the blue Storm Key in his hand.

"The vision showed me a giant black gate," he said slowly.

Farid stepped closer.

"And behind it?"

Rahim took a deep breath.

"I could not see clearly. But I felt something alive."

The atmosphere inside the chamber suddenly felt colder.

Karim whispered,

"That sounds really bad."

Farid's face became serious.

"The ancient legends warned about this."

Rahim looked at him quickly.

"You know about the gate?"

Farid nodded slowly.

"My grandfather once told me a story."

Karim sighed softly.

"Why does every dangerous mystery begin with old stories?"

Farid ignored the comment and continued.

"He said the ancient guardians sealed away a powerful darkness long ago."

Rahim listened carefully.

"The three keys were created to lock the Final Gate forever."

Karim's eyes widened.

"Then why do the keys still exist?"

Farid replied quietly,

"In case the seal ever became weak."

Rahim looked down at the crystal and the two keys.

"So we are supposed to protect the gate."

Farid nodded.

"Yes."

Karim folded his arms nervously.

"And let me guess… someone will try to open it."

Before anyone could answer—

The tower suddenly shook violently.

BOOOOM!

Blue lightning exploded across the walls.

Karim nearly lost balance.

"Not again!"

The crystal started glowing wildly.

Rahim looked around carefully.

"Something is wrong."

Farid's expression darkened.

"The Shadow Beast."

Another powerful roar echoed from outside the tower.

The sound shook the entire building.

Karim looked terrified.

"Please tell me that thing is not here."

Farid moved quickly toward a large window opening.

He looked outside.

His face immediately became pale.

"It followed us."

Rahim and Karim quickly joined him.

Far below the tower, dark smoke moved across the rocky land.

Inside the smoke—

Two giant glowing red eyes stared directly at the tower.

Karim stepped back slowly.

"That thing is huge…"

The Shadow Beast was far larger than they imagined.

Its massive shadow body moved like living darkness.

Every step it took cracked the ground.

Lightning flashed around it.

Rahim tightened his grip on the crystal.

"It wants the keys."

Farid nodded.

"Yes. If the beast reaches the Final Gate, the ancient darkness may awaken."

Karim whispered,

"So basically… the world ends."

Farid stayed silent.

That silence was enough.

Suddenly—

The tower shook again.

This time, cracks appeared across the chamber walls.

Rahim asked quickly,

"What do we do now?"

Farid looked serious.

"We must find the third key before the beast does."

Karim sighed loudly.

"Of course there's still another key."

The silver and blue keys suddenly started glowing together.

A bright symbol appeared in the air between them.

Rahim watched carefully.

"It's another map."

The glowing image slowly changed shape.

This time, it showed a giant forest covered in fog.

In the middle stood an ancient black temple.

Karim looked nervous again.

"That place looks cursed."

Farid's expression changed immediately.

"The Temple of Shadows…"

Rahim asked,

"You know this place too?"

Farid nodded slowly.

"It is the oldest guardian site."

Karim whispered,

"Let me guess… the third key is there."

Farid replied quietly,

"Yes. The Shadow Key."

Thunder shook the tower again.

The Shadow Beast let out another terrifying roar below.

The creature was getting closer.

Rahim looked determined.

"Then we leave now."

Farid nodded.

"There is another exit at the top of the tower."

Karim looked confused.

"The top?"

Farid pointed upward.

"An ancient transport gate."

Rahim smiled slightly.

"That sounds useful."

The three of them quickly moved through another hallway inside the tower.

Blue lights flashed around them as the storm outside became stronger.

After climbing several stairs, they finally reached the highest room of the tower.

The room was circular and open to the stormy sky.

In the center stood a giant glowing platform covered in symbols.

Karim looked amazed.

"This looks advanced."

Farid nodded.

"The ancient guardians used these gates to travel quickly between hidden sites."

Rahim carefully stepped onto the platform.

The crystal and the two keys immediately reacted.

Blue and silver energy spread across the symbols.

The platform started glowing brightly.

Wind exploded around the room.

Karim held onto a pillar tightly.

"I seriously hope this thing works properly!"

Farid smiled slightly.

"It will."

The glowing symbols became brighter and brighter.

Then suddenly—

A giant roar echoed from below the tower.

The Shadow Beast had reached the entrance.

The entire tower shook violently.

Cracks spread across the floor.

Karim shouted,

"It's here!"

Rahim raised the crystal higher.

The transport gate activated fully.

Bright light surrounded all three of them.

Farid shouted,

"Hold on!"

The light exploded across the room.

And in the next second—

Rahim, Karim, and Farid disappeared from the Storm Tower completely.

Far below, the Shadow Beast roared angrily as the tower continued shaking in the storm.

But the journey of the guardians was far from over.

The final key was waiting.
