"That's not up to you, I decide when it ends," Slayde says, smiling.
"I suppose this fight has gone on for far too long. I can't remember the last time someone's pushed me this far."
"And for that, I, Slayde, recognise you, Anyachi Velheim. You truly are a brave warrior of Estalcia," Slayde says, clapping as he stares at Anyachi, who keeps a disgusted look on her face.
"But do answer me one thing," Slayde says, his expression turning serious as he raises a finger. "How did you do it? How did you appear out of thin air? You had to have been part of the duplicates you made, or so I thought before you attacked me. So how? I'm curious."
"I see no reason to answer you," Anyachi says, while Miura and Selene stand behind her with stern expressions.
"You don't have to, but what purpose would it serve keeping it a secret when only one of us is leaving here alive?" Slayde says, grinning evilly.
"Th-, this guy invokes a level of fear in me that I've never felt before," Miura monologues as we see him visibly shaken.
"You're right, there's no point in hiding it," Anyachi says nonchalantly.
"Huh?!" Miura and Selene exclaim at the same time.
"My wind testament is different from others. It grants unique perks not normally seen. One of them is creating wind clones indistinguishable from the original, and the other is the ability to completely become one with air," Anyachi says, a serious look on her face.
"Completely become one with air? That explains why she wasn't part of the duplicates. She must have handed over her sword to one of them during the process of creating them to trick me into believing that was the main body, while becoming one with air during the period she was surrounded by her duplicates. Smart, very smart, but there's still something bothering me that I need answered," Slayde monologues as he stares at Anyachi.
"How did you hit me? Air is meant to flow, not attack, so if you become one with air, you shouldn't be able to physically attack me," Slayde says as he looks at Anyachi, who lets out a chuckle.
"Didn't I tell you I have unique perks? You ought to listen more. When I'm one with air, I can physically attack others, but they can't touch me," Anyachi says, smirking.
"It all makes sense now. That's how she was able to hit me. That's the first I've heard of such an ability," Slayde monologues, keeping an intrigued expression.
"And you were right about one thing," Anyachi says.
"Really? And what could that be?" Slayde replies.
A wide smirk forms on Anyachi's face.
"Only one of us is leaving here alive, and it's not you," Anyachi says as she rushes at Slayde with her sword in hand.
