Chapter 13 - Chapter 13

Since Irisviel was only created today, several maids took care of her from the moment she left the training cabin, so there were many things she didn't understand.

Her body is that of an adult, but her mind is only that of a baby.

At dinner time, in the splendid dining room, there were only Haruto, Irisviel, and a few maid androids. Since Jubstacheit had already handed over power to Haruto, he had hibernated his program.

Irisviel didn't know how to use cutlery; she often confused the functions of the knife and fork, even attempting to cut the beef with a fork.

The entire dining room was filled with the clatter of silverware.

Haruto really couldn't bear to watch any longer, so he went over, took Irisviel into his arms, and sat down. He held both of Irisviel's hands in his.

"Iri, let me teach you how to use them."

Feeling Haruto's embrace and warm hands, Irisviel rejoiced: "Well, Haru, thank you."

"Why do you need to thank me?" Haruto smiled.

In this way, Irisviel finished the entire dinner in Haruto's arms.

After dinner, Haruto sat in the room and watched TV. Information technology was not very advanced in this era, and the entertainment industry was similarly underdeveloped.

He was speechless while watching a boring TV show. Irisviel, next to him, seemed to be very interested, appearing attracted to whatever was on the screen.

Whenever she was curious, she would ask Haruto, and if she saw behaviors or objects on the screen that interested her, she would tell him.

"Haru, let's do that action."

"Haru, I want that thing."

When she saw a couple kissing on the screen, Irisviel said to Haruto with sparkling eyes, "Haru, let's kiss."

When Haruto heard this, any sleepiness he felt vanished instantly.

When he was in the dining room earlier, he had been hugging Irisviel, and it was inevitable that he felt a little restless. Now that she had taken the initiative to deliver herself to his door, he couldn't let the opportunity go to waste.

Then, Haruto and Irisviel looked at each other, tilted their heads, and he moved to kiss Irisviel's small mouth directly.

As Irisviel was kissed by Haruto, her eyes gradually blurred, and her heart throbbed.

Ba-dum Ba-dum Ba-dum

When the heartbeat of a doll gradually appears, it is the time she becomes human.

After a long time, their lips parted.

"Haru, it's so strange; my heart is beating very fast," Irisviel asked Haruto with a bewildered look on her face.

Heartbeat? Haruto was startled. Was Irisviel feeling emotions so quickly?

"That's a good thing, Iri. This is emotion. Joy, sorrow, happiness."

He looked at Irisviel with her blushing face and blurry eyes. But now was not the time; the current Irisviel did not yet understand what love was, nor did she fully grasp these emotions. Therefore, Haruto didn't plan to "eat" Irisviel just yet.

In this way, Haruto continued his explanations to Irisviel.

Irisviel's eyes became brighter the more she listened. She knew she was an artificial person and did not understand human emotions.

But the moment she saw Haruto, she wanted to know—she wanted to understand—what love was. She wanted to receive love; Haruto's love.

The two chatted until late at night. Haruto looked at the time and realized it was time to rest.

He brought Irisviel to the room to comfort her. Watching her lying on the bed, he was just about to leave when Irisviel suddenly grabbed Haruto's hand.

"Haru, don't leave me," Irisviel pleaded with her eyes.

Haruto's heart softened when he looked at her. His desires had been provoked earlier; he had intended to comfort Irisviel and then find Shiki or Touko after she fell asleep. As a result, they ended up sleeping together.

Looking at Irisviel's expression, he couldn't bear to refuse.

He had to take off his shoes and get under the quilt.

Irisviel was very happy to see Haruto staying with her. She stretched out her arms and hugged him directly, treating Haruto like a human-shaped pillow.

Haruto had a face full of resignation. 'My dear Iri, you are testing my endurance.'

Not yet. Haruto quickly collected his thoughts and calmed down. Otherwise, he was afraid he wouldn't be able to help himself.

He quietly looked at Irisviel, watching her delicate sleeping face.

Thinking of her fate as the vessel for the Holy Grail, he decided that since she was here, he would save her. He would help her remove the "little chalice" after a while.

Early in the morning, in Haruto and Irisviel's room at the Einzbern castle.

Irisviel's slender eyelashes trembled slightly. She slowly opened her dull eyes and woke up, as if she had remembered something.

She reached out to the side and found that Haruto was gone. Suddenly, she felt as if she were missing something.

It felt as if what happened yesterday had been a dream. Her heart tightened; she got up and hurriedly shouted: "Haru!"

"Haru! Where are you! Don't leave me!" Irisviel cried out in tears.

Her eyes became empty once more. Like a puppet.

At that moment, the door opened and Haruto entered. Carrying a breakfast tray and seeing Irisviel in this state, he understood what was happening. With a pang in his heart, he put down the plate and went to her.

He opened his arms and hugged her directly. He comforted her: "Fool, how could I leave you?" He gently stroked Iri's head.

Upon hearing the familiar voice, Irisviel looked up and saw the familiar face. Her eyes regained their light.

"Haru, don't leave me," Irisviel said with a sob.

"I only went out to get you some breakfast. Don't cry; I won't leave you, because I promised to protect Iri for a lifetime," Haruto said softly. He helped Irisviel wipe away her tears.

"Well, Haru promised me," Irisviel broke into a smile. "Haru, kiss."

Seeing Irisviel's request, Haruto could only agree. He bent down and pressed a slight kiss to Irisviel's forehead.

"Cunning, Haru," Irisviel puffed out her cheeks in dissatisfaction. She put her fingers to her lips.

"No, no, not there. Here."

Haruto looked at Irisviel, who was acting like a child, smiled, and flicked her forehead.

"Go wash up first and have breakfast. We can wait for the next time."

"Oww, that hurts. Haru is a bad person." Irisviel held her head and looked at Haruto with aggrieved eyes.

Haruto didn't fall for it and brought Irisviel to the washroom.

He saw that Irisviel's face was covered with water stains—it seemed she had simply buried her face in the water and lifted it back up—and there was some white foam left behind.

She hadn't even brushed her teeth properly. So, Haruto taught Irisviel how to brush her teeth and wash her face.

After returning to the room, Irisviel sat obediently beside the bed. Haruto held a comb and gently combed Irisviel's long silver hair. A faint, warm feeling pervaded the air between them.

When it came time to change into new clothes, Irisviel was in a hurry. She looked at Haruto with pitiful eyes.

"Haru, I don't know how."

Seeing this, Haruto was helpless. She couldn't even change her own clothes.

"Why don't I find a maid to change them for you?"

"No, I want Haru to change them for me," Irisviel said with a cute expression.

"Okay." Haruto had no choice but to help her.

During the process, he could hardly keep his composure.
