Third person POV
Now, it's been 2 weeks since he got into Japan's most prestigious university, Tokyo University, and Rathanak felt confident with his excellent proficiency in Japanese. Entering his assigned lecture hall, many of the students, who were either foreigners or half-Japanese, said their greetings to him.
"Morning!" responded Rathanak back, before saying it in English, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Spanish, Italian, Waray, and Korean, some of the languages of his foreign peers.
After that, he sat down next to one Camellia Roque, who was a Filipino university student and a classmate of Rathanak.
"Hey, how are you, Rathanak?" Camellia asked.
"Oh! I'm fine, Camellia-chan, thanks," replied Rathanak while getting his notebooks, pens, and one of his textbooks for this course, which is Business Management.
And then, another classmate of his, an Italian national named Luigi Ciccarello went up to them and said, "Hey, Rathanak, how are you, my friend?"
"I'm fine, Luigi-kun, thanks," Rathanak replied nicely.
"Don't worry, man, half of everyone in this class is not Japanese or are half-Japanese. You're not alone here."
"Yeah, thanks for that."
