When Nina Jacobs came downstairs, Vera Coleman had already prepared breakfast for the family.
Nina was surprised to find green vegetables inside the steamed buns.
The vegetables were a bit tough, but Walsh's cooking was excellent. With the right seasoning, they still tasted fresh.
"These vegetables were cultivated by Professor Caldwell. He said he wanted to thank you in person when you got back."
Daniel Hale said, taking a sip of soy milk.
"Professor Blaine Caldwell?"
Nina asked in surprise.
She had almost forgotten that among the people she had rescued in Aethelgard, one of them was Blaine Caldwell, a professor of agricultural science from the Drakonian Academy of Agriculture.
Adrian Shaw had also mentioned that Professor Caldwell had participated in seed cultivation projects in outer space and had extensive experience in growing crops under extremely harsh climate conditions.
"That's right. The old gentleman delivered the vegetables for these buns to our house himself."
