This was a common reaction for people facing zombies for the first time.

"Be careful, Nina."

Vera Coleman watched the situation in the yard with concern.

Daniel Hale was currently fending off Orson Walsh with a clothes-drying pole.

"Miss Jacobs, was what I did just now unnecessary?"

Ian Chandler asked, confused.

His shoulder throw had been successful, so why did Nina Jacobs say it was an unnecessary move?

"The broadcast said not to get scratched or bitten.

The more contact you have with a zombie, the easier it is to get hurt, isn't it?"

As she finished speaking, Nina Jacobs had already dodged nimbly behind Orson Walsh. A simple kick to his ankle sent him crashing to the ground.

Before he could get up, an axe struck Orson Walsh in the head. She even perfectly avoided the splattering liquid.

Ian Chandler stared, stunned.

Everyone present, except for Leo Hale, was shocked into silence.

"I knew it. You've been hiding this from us the whole time."
