"What did you say? She ran away?" Renee Strong asked in disbelief.
Ivan Lawson had returned looking completely battered, bringing the news that Shannon Renner had fled on her own.
"Is she actually reborn or not?" This was Liam Grant's greatest concern. If Shannon Renner had also been reborn, then what about Nina Jacobs?
"I don't know," Ivan replied. "Looking at her, she's probably lost her mind." Ivan wasn't sure if Shannon was reborn either. With only the word "again" to go by, no one could be certain.
"Where did she go after getting out of the car?" Simon Abbott frowned deeply. Despite all their calculations, they had never anticipated that things would go wrong with Shannon.
"I don't know, but it's not looking good. Most likely, she went to join her husband and daughter in death." At that moment, Ivan suddenly realized something was amiss. "Why is Wyatt Jacobs here? Didn't you go to Nina's?"
A tense silence hung in the air.
