Chapter 3 - Chosen One

As the starship symbols appeared in both of their eyes, Virelia had her tongue out, her face a bright, burning red.

"Wow, this is actually good. Keep going. Keep going. Faster! Faster! I've never enjoyed this so much. Never!" she cried out.

Draven then smote. Her body was no longer resisting. He continued moving his hips in and out. "You're no longer resisting. Now you're finally speaking your mind," he said. "I'm about to come. Can I come inside? Tell me. It's your decision."

"Come inside, it's fine. Let's come together," Virelia said.

As Draven started moving his hips faster, she started pushing back against him just as hard. As his hips twitched in the chair, he changed position, making her stay in it this time. This time she started moving faster; against his waist, against her, she started moving.

"Ah, ah, ah, ah!"

She didn't scream as both of them came at the same time. At that exact moment, a notification popped up in front of Draven:

[EROS SYSTEM FULLY ACTIVATED. CHOSEN ONE HAS BEEN FOUND. ]

"What the hell?" Draven said, pausing as the glow intensified.

Virelia stayed on the chair, the pink symbols in her eyes pulsing with light. Another notification appeared in front of her:

[ SEALED MEMORY UNLOCKED. ]

"Ah!" she gasped, clutching her head as a soft headache blossomed into a flood of memories. She remembered everything: how, when she was ten years old, she was sent to find the Chosen One—the only person who could save her world and her village. Her memory had been seared when they sent her away; she had been adopted, lived a normal life, and met Draven.

Now, she remembered it all.

Draven was still wondering what was happening. He looked at the notification as the audio interface began to speak. He scrambled to pull on his shorts and trousers, his mind racing.

"What is going on? What is this? I have a notification that just popped up!"

The screen changed

[ CHOSEN ONE IDENTIFIED. ]

[ WARP TO ANOTHER WORLD INITIATED: 20 SECONDS. ]

The countdown began: 20... 19... 18...

"20, 19... What the hell is going on?" Draven yelled.

Virelia stood up, the weight of her past finally returning to her. Draven still didn't understand. "What is this?!"

[09.. 08.. 07..]

Suddenly, a countdown appeared in Draven's mind. As the timer hit one, the pink glow exploded into a blinding crimson light. The room, the bed, and the walls vanished.

Draven felt a sensation of weightlessness before slamming into something hard and cold.

He groaned, slowly opening his eyes. He blinked, trying to clear his vision. "What the hell...?" He stood up shakily, brushing himself off. "Why is there grass on the ground?"

He took a few steps forward and looked down. His heart leaped into his throat. He was standing on the jagged edge of a massive mountain peak. Below him, a world he didn't recognize stretched out for miles. He scrambled back, collapsing onto the ground. "I was just... we were just in the room! What is going on?"

Behind him, Virelia stirred. She sat up slowly, looking around with a calm expression that Draven didn't expect.

"Ah," she said softly, her voice steady. "We are here already."

"Explain this to me! Please!" Draven shouted, his hands trembling. "Where are we?"

Virelia looked at him, her eyes shining with a new light. "To be honest with you, Draven... I am not from Earth. This is my world."

Draven's jaw dropped. "What do you mean, your world?"

"When I was a young girl, maybe seven or eight, I was not the only one sent away," Virelia explained, standing up and looking out over the mountain range. "There were many of us—females sent across the dimensions to find the Chosen One. There is a gate that has been locked for centuries, and we needed to find the key. The one who is destined to save us."

Draven stared at her, his mind spinning. "I still don't get what you're saying," he said, his voice cracking. "Are you saying I'm that person? Just because of... what we just did?"
