Chapter 21 - The Janitor’s Revenge

The next morning, Akash arrived at the corporate building. He was still wearing his old, faded janitor uniform, but his walk was different. He didn't look at the ground anymore; he looked straight ahead.

As he entered the lobby, he saw Manager Khanna. Khanna was a cruel man who enjoyed making the cleaning staff miserable.

"Hey, Trash-man!" Khanna shouted, pointing at a coffee spill on the expensive marble floor. "Clean this up right now. And do it on your knees. I want to see it shine!"

A group of employees stopped to watch, some of them smirking. Usually, Akash would bow his head and start scrubbing. But today, he just stood there.

[Notification: Arrogant Target Detected.]

[Mission: Humiliate the Manager.]

[Luck Trigger: A Loose Screw.]

Akash didn't move. Instead, he calmly said, "I'm busy, Manager. Clean it yourself."

The lobby went silent. Khanna's face turned bright red with anger. "What did you say? You're fired! Get out before I have security throw you—"

Before Khanna could finish his sentence, he took a step toward Akash. Suddenly, his expensive Italian leather shoe caught on a tiny, loose metal screw on the floor.

CRACK!

Khanna slipped. His legs flew into the air, and he landed face-first right into the puddle of sticky, cold coffee he had just ordered Akash to clean.

The sound of his face hitting the floor echoed through the lobby. Everyone gasped. Khanna tried to get up, but his hand slipped again, and he fell even harder. His toupee (fake hair) flew off his head and landed in a nearby trash can.

[Mission Complete: Target Humiliated.]

[Reward: 500 Experience Points.]

[Bonus: The Manager's Secret Keycard.]

As Khanna struggled on the floor, a gold-colored keycard slid out of his pocket and stopped right at Akash's feet. This was the key to the Executive Vault on the 50th floor—a place no janitor was ever allowed to go.

Akash picked up the card and smiled. "You should be more careful, Manager. The floor is quite dirty today."

He walked away, leaving the powerful manager crying in the middle of a coffee puddle. For the first time in his life, Akash felt like he wasn't a janitor anymore. He was the master of his own fate.

[Level Up!]

[Current Level: 2]

[New Skill Unlocked: Golden Eye (Can see the value of any item).]

Akash looked at a nearby decorative vase. In his vision, a golden text appeared:

Item: Antique Vase. Real Value: $50,000. Location of Flaw: Bottom left.

He realized that with this system, he could not only win the lottery but also find treasures that the rest of the world ignored.
