Chapter 21 - Chapter 20

The sun had barely begun to touch the horizon when Reinhardt and his legendary guards slipped back into the mansion, the smell of ozone and ash still clinging to their cloaks. While Artoria, Morgan, and Scáthach headed off to rest after their night of "hunting," Reinhardt sat on the edge of his bed, the blue glow of the System panel illuminating his face.

"Ten billion coins is a lot of weight to carry," he murmured. "Time to turn that gold into power."

The Grand Summoning

Reinhardt navigated the System's multiversal market, hand-picking individuals who would not only serve as his blade but as the foundation of his new world order. He confirmed the transaction, and 5 billion coins vanished instantly.

The room began to shake as a massive, obsidian-and-gold summoning circle expanded across the floor. One by one, the figures manifested in bursts of overwhelming energy:

Albedo: The Overseer of Nazarick, her white dress contrasting with her black wings, exuding a terrifyingly loyal aura. The Pleiades: Yuri Alpha, Lupusregina Beta, Narberal Gamma, and Solution Epsilon—a perfectly coordinated squad of combat maids. Feixiao: The Merlin's Claw from the Xianzhou Yaoqing, her silver hair catching the light as she gripped her gunblades. Raiden Ei: The Raiden Shogun, crackling with the purple lightning of the Musou no Hitotachi. Mordred: The Knight of Treachery, her red-and-silver armor clanking as she landed with a smirk. Kaguya Otsutsuki: The Rabbit Goddess, floating silently, her Byakugan eyes surveying the new reality.

The King's Command

The legendary group looked at the young man sitting calmly before them. Simultaneously, they dropped to one knee, a chorus of "Master," "Lord," and "My King" filling the room.

Reinhardt stood up, his gaze sweeping over them. "Raise your heads," he said, his voice soft but commanding. "And listen well. When we are in public, maintain your roles. But when we are alone... do not bow to me. I don't want a room full of puppets; I want a family of warriors."

The shift in the room was palpable. Albedo's eyes sparkled with a dangerous level of obsession and joy. Feixiao and Raiden Ei shared a surprised glance, while even the stoic Kaguya and the rebellious Mordred felt a strange warmth in their chests.

A collective blush swept through the group. They weren't just being treated as tools or weapons—they were being treated as equals by a King who saw their souls.

Preparation for the Storm

Before heading to sleep, Reinhardt spent another 1 billion coins on the "Armor of the Radiant Dragon" for Artoria (Lancer). The armor was forged from celestial scales, designed to enhance her Rhongomyniad and provide immunity to low-tier curses.

[SYSTEM STATUS UPDATED]

Current Balance: 4.48 Billion Devil Coins. Household Rank: EX (God-Tier Garrison). New Title:Lord of the Multiversal Legion.

The Morning After

As Reinhardt finally closed his eyes, the outside world was in chaos.

News Break: The Beelzebub Stronghold massacre has been discovered. The "Witness" (the brainwashed researcher) has reached the capital, screaming about Asmodeus betrayal. Mobilization: The Beelzebub Clan has officially declared a "State of Blood Feud" against the Asmodeus. The Gremory Reaction: Sirzechs Gremory is shocked by the sudden escalation and is being pressured by his father, Zeoticus, to intervene—or take advantage of the chaos.

Reinhardt stood before the newly formed legion, the air in the room thick with the concentrated power of several universes. He looked at each of them—the goddess, the shogun, the general, the knight, and the overseer.

"A war is coming," Reinhardt stated, his voice calm but carrying the weight of the coming storm. "The Underworld is a powder keg, and I've just lit the fuse. I need you to be the foundation of this mansion when everything else burns."

Kaguya nodded slowly, her Byakugan tracing the magical ley lines of the building, while Feixiao rested a hand on her gunblade, a sharp, eager smile playing on her lips. Raiden Ei simply closed her eyes, her presence grounding the lightning that hummed in the air.

"Yuri Alpha, Lupusregina, Narberal, and Solution," Reinhardt turned to the battle maids. "You will take over the domestic management and security of the mansion. Work with Venelana and Misla. I want this place to be an impenetrable fortress that looks like a paradise."

The four Pleiades bowed in perfect synchronization. "As you command, Lord Reinhardt," Yuri Alpha replied, though Lupusregina gave a playful, toothy grin that suggested she'd enjoy the 'security' part of her job a bit too much.

Finally, Reinhardt turned to the armored girl who was practically vibrating with restless energy. "Mordred."

"Yeah, Master?" she replied, crossing her arms over her red breastplate.

"Your father and mother—the King of Knights and the Queen of Fae—are both here. Artoria and Morgan are currently resting in the guest wing."

Mordred's head snapped up, her eyes widening in genuine shock. The "Knight of Treachery" actually looked stunned, her rebellious facade flickering. "Is it true? Both of them? In the same house without killing each other?"

"They argue," Reinhardt chuckled, "but they are part of my circle. I'll introduce you properly once they wake up. And Mordred... stop with the 'Master' talk. Call me Rein or Reinhardt. That goes for all of you."

A wave of crimson washed over Mordred's face as she looked away, scratching her cheek. "Tch. Fine... Rein. Thanks."

Albedo leaned in, her wings fluttering with dark elegance. "If that is your wish, Reinhardt-sama... then I shall cherish the sound of your name."

The Morning Report

As the summons moved to settle into their roles, the System chimed with a summary of the world's reaction to the night's "events."

[WORLD NEWS LOG]

The Beelzebub Clan: Has mobilized 40,000 soldiers toward the Asmodeus border. The Asmodeus Clan: Is in a state of panic; the Head of the House has denied the attack, but the "False Witness" and the stolen 10 billion coins have made them look like liars. The Sitri Clan: Byron Sitri has officially closed the borders between Sitri and Beelzebub territory "for safety," further choking Beelzebub's logistics.

The Tense Awakening

An hour later, the doors to the main hall creaked open. Artoria (Lancer) and Morgan walked in, still looking a bit drowsy from their hunt—until they saw the new arrivals.

Artoria's grip tightened on the air where her spear usually manifested. Her eyes locked onto Mordred. "You..."

Morgan's eyes narrowed, her mana flaring. "The brat is here?"

Mordred stood her ground, her hand on the hilt of Clarent. "Hey, Father. Hey, Mother. Long time no see."
