Rosalind Lowell woke up to find she'd made headlines again.
She still couldn't quite get used to seeing herself on the front page.
"What is it this time?"
Alaric Davenport, still drowsy, sat up beside her and propped his head on his hand. "What's wrong?"
"Well, your status is official now," Rosalind said.
"Really?" Alaric Davenport shot up and crowded in to look at her phone. The headline was blatant: "Rosalind Lowell Secretly Married, Has Two Kids."
"But it doesn't say who your husband is," Alaric Davenport grumbled, a little displeased.
"No, no, look further down."
"Rosalind Lowell Kept by CEO of The Davenport Group."
Alaric Davenport's eyebrow twitched in clear displeasure. "That's not the right word for it. We have a marriage license."
Rosalind Lowell found a number. "Here, call..."
After the call, Alaric Davenport wrapped his arms around her. "I've waited so long for this day."
Rosalind Lowell stroked the fresh stubble on his chin. "Congratulations, Mr. Davenport."
