"Kael." Kael Davenport looked at her coldly, a hint of anger in his eyes because she had stolen his mother.
"My mommy calls me Crystal, and Daddy calls me Eve. You can call me whatever you want."
Kael Davenport was silent.
"I'll allow you to be my friend."
"Who'd want to be friends with you?" Kael Davenport replied coldly.
Tears welled up in Crystal's eyes. She looked incredibly hurt. Seeing her expression, Kael Davenport took pity on the girl and said, "I don't have any friends."
"Well, now you have me as a friend!"
Just then, a commotion suddenly erupted nearby. The bodyguard next to Kael Davenport moved to protect him, and Crystal was pushed aside in the crush.
Meanwhile, Alaric Davenport approached Rosalind Lowell. "Let's talk. Alone."
"There's nothing to talk about."
