Alaric Davenport surprisingly nodded. "That's not a bad reason. Take the contract and find Ethan Lockwood at the office during business hours."
After the two left, Rosalind Lowell tugged at Alaric Davenport in disbelief. She had struggled to hold back until they were gone. "Alaric, how can we be so ungrateful?"
"Who says we are?"
Rosalind Lowell blinked, looking at Alaric Davenport's blurry outline. "Didn't you just tell them to go sign the contract?"
"Who says going means we have to sign?"
