Jessica Sutton grew flustered. She rolled her eyes, and an idea suddenly struck her.
"Me, have a record of doing something like that? It was because I was heartbroken! You hurt Alaric, and my bodyguard couldn't stand seeing me so sad, so they acted on their own. What does that have to do with me?"
Rosalind Lowell was speechless.
"Skylar used to send our family tons of dresses. If I want a dress, I can just get one. Isn't it the same for you, Miss Ainsworth?"
Elsa Ainsworth frowned slightly. "Don't bring Skylar into this."
Jessica Sutton laughed. "My apologies, Miss Ainsworth. I didn't realize that was a sensitive topic. Is there anything else? If not, I'll be taking my leave."
Without waiting for them to say another word, she stood up, picked up her phone, and made a call.
