Faye Lowell grabbed her by the collar. "Are you going to do it or not?"
Rosalind Lowell glared at her. "I'm going. Why wouldn't I?"
If she didn't go, there was no telling what kind of trouble Faye would cook up next.
Faye Lowell nodded, her expression softening slightly.
As she stepped out of the private dining room, she saw the back of a man who looked remarkably like Alaric Davenport entering another room with a woman. She thought she must have been mistaken. 'What would Alaric be doing here at this time?'
When she walked out of the restaurant, she saw his car. Her heart sank, and the light in her eyes gradually faded.
'They were only a married couple in name. What he did was none of her business.'
"Mrs. Davenport." Zeke Hayes opened the car door for her, adding, "How come Mr. Davenport is here too?"
Rosalind bit her lip and said nothing. She'd been hoping she was mistaken, but unfortunately, Zeke Hayes had just confirmed her suspicions.
