She had only turned off her Light Computer's screen, not exited Lucy's livestream!
To hide her mortification, Su Yaoyao's mind raced, and she stammered out a weak excuse. "There are so many ads these days, always with these pop-ups. I must have clicked one by accident, hahaha..."
While forcing a laugh, she frantically cursed her clumsy hands in her head. Her fingers tapped frantically at the virtual screen as she muttered under her breath, "Stupid hands, move faster!"
After a great deal of effort, she finally managed to exit the livestream, and the heart-pounding, blush-inducing sounds came to an abrupt halt.
Su Yaoyao let out a long sigh of relief, wiping the nervous sweat from her forehead. She was having a complete meltdown inside, despairing to herself.
'How can anyone be this embarrassing? How am I ever going to face him again?'
Augustine, however, said nothing. His expression was calm and unruffled.
