Lianne was just about to explain that she hadn't lied to him when Sophie Sheridan's voice came from outside the door again. "Seth isn't here, don't worry! Open up."
Lianne was speechless.
Seth's lips curled into a half-smile as he looked at her.
Alarm bells went off in Lianne's head. She grabbed his arm. "Go wait in the bedroom for a bit. You can leave after my friend is gone."
Seth stood there like a statue, completely unmoving.
Lianne thought he didn't understand her reasoning and explained, "You showing up at my place this late at night could easily cause a misunderstanding. It's better to avoid the situation entirely than to try and explain it face-to-face, which would only make things worse."
Seth didn't say anything. He just tapped his handsome cheek with a long finger.
He was telling her to kiss him.
Lianne: "..."
Outside, Sophie grew puzzled when Lianne didn't open the door.
'It's too early for her to be asleep. Why hasn't she come to the door?'
