Ivy Holden studied Shelby Roland's expression and knew the man was still seething. It was useless to talk to him about anything until he calmed down. So, she turned to Penelope Quinn and said, "Take Roland to the hospital and get an injury report."
"Huh?" Penelope Quinn thought she must have misheard.
Ivy Holden asked with a smile, "What, did James Zimmers not fight back? Did he land a few punches on Roland?"
"Well… he did get hit a few times, I guess?" Penelope Quinn glanced guiltily at Shelby Roland.
"I'm not going! That coward's made of paper. Even if he got a few licks in, it's nothing."
"Tsk! Roland, you must save all your brainpower for cooking, huh? Listen to me. Go with Penelope to the hospital right now and get that injury report. We'll need it for the lawsuit later." Ivy Holden couldn't have made it any clearer.
"…Fine." Fortunately, Shelby Roland wasn't a complete idiot.
Once Ivy Holden saw Penelope Quinn and Shelby Roland leave, she called Phoebe Buck over.
