The next morning, Ivy Holden walked into the office and immediately handed Penelope Quinn the keys to two villas.
"President Holden, what's this?" Penelope Quinn asked, staring at the keys in confusion.
"They're dorms for our artists. Two townhouses, side-by-side. Each has three floors, so there should be plenty of rooms. Go take a look first and buy whatever's missing. Also, there's already a housekeeper there to look after the place. She can handle the cleaning and things like that for them."
"You rented them already? How much is the rent? Where's the lease agreement...?"
"I didn't rent them. They're properties owned by my stepmom. They were just sitting empty."
"Chairman Morrison is so good to you." Penelope Quinn was struck by a profound realization. 'Having a reliable and wealthy stepmother is such a wonderful thing.'
Penelope Quinn had just left when the intercom rang. Ivy Holden pressed "1" to answer.
