By the time they got back to the hotel, Ivy Holden had already recovered.
She got out of the car and went upstairs on her own, which was a great relief to the crew.
Dahlia Lynch quietly pulled her assistant, Fletcher, aside. "Grab my snacks," she said. "We're going to check on Lady Eden."
"Huh? Do you know what time it is? The sun's almost up! And did you see Emperor Morrison's face... Are you sure you can handle that?"
"If you're scared, you don't have to go. Just get my things ready and you can go to bed. I'll just pop in for a look. It'll only take a few minutes."
Fletcher rounded up their entire private stash of snacks and put them in a bag. Dahlia Lynch then took the bag and knocked on Ivy Holden's door.
"Miss Lynch, hello," Irving Jacobs greeted politely.
"How's Lady Eden? I came to see her," Dahlia Lynch said, shoving a large bag of snacks into Irving Jacobs' arms.
