The night was still.
The party was over.
'Tonight was a rare highlight for me, the brightest I've had in a while… and it heralds the beginning of some wonderful things.'
Sitting on the sofa, Lin Chu gazed quietly at the exquisite, pale yellow porcelain on the coffee table, a look of delight in his eyes.
'I've bought many priceless porcelain pieces, but they all pale in comparison to this one.'
This piece of porcelain was the legendary National Gift Porcelain.
It was a gift for him.
Tonight, at the party that had just ended.
Previously, he had wanted to acquire a piece of National Gift Porcelain, tasking Lu Ming with the job, but it hadn't worked out.
But now, one had been presented to him as a gift.
This was naturally a form of official recognition, and it also meant that everything he did was being watched.
Also, during his private chat with that important figure earlier, he had received a request.
Or rather… a mission.
