On the twelfth floor of the Bulgari Hotel, in a room overlooking the Crazy Horse Show.
Lin Chu and Wang Zhefei stood before the massive floor-to-ceiling window, watching the flashing neon lights and the stream of guests entering the venue across the street.
"We're… watching from here?"
"What kind of view is this?"
"Or are we waiting for everyone to get drunk so we can go down and pick up the passed-out girls?"
Wang Zhefei asked, bewildered and unsure whether to laugh or cry.
The Crazy Horse Show was certainly intriguing and tempting, but why weren't they inside instead of here?
It obviously wasn't because they couldn't afford it.
Lin Chu turned to look at him and smiled faintly. "You'll know soon enough. Come on, let's eat and drink. I had someone get us some skewers and a Trappist quadrupel. Let's see how they compare to the ones back home."
Having their "usual" was a ritual.
Even in a foreign country, you could still get it if you really wanted to.
