After a stroll down the Champs-Élysées, Lin Chu returned empty-handed. He hadn't bought a thing.
He'd done plenty of looking, though.
But he just wasn't in the mood to spend any money.
Not in the slightest.
To him, luxury goods no longer held any meaning.
When he got a call from Gao Haitao saying they had the houses picked out, Lin Chu thought for a moment and decided to go take a look himself.
The requirements he had given him were simple: they had to be large, private, and preferably, allow the guys to live together.
Following these requirements, the only real options were villas.
This meant the locations would be relatively remote.
But that wasn't a problem, since cars were standard issue anyway.
The employees of LC Security all had work and residency permits. France doesn't prohibit foreigners from purchasing property, so the paperwork wasn't difficult.
After driving for about half an hour, Lin Chu arrived.
Beisi Village.
