Aria Sterling was just about to go find Colin Sterling when Ruby Rhodes arrived.
She was reporting a theft in the finance department; some items were missing.
Aria Sterling frowned, staring at Ruby Rhodes, and asked coldly.
"Supervisor Rhodes, what exactly was stolen from the finance department?"
Ruby Rhodes hesitated for a moment before speaking slowly. "A USB drive, a few documents, and a golden ornament."
"What was on the USB drive?"
At this question, Ruby Rhodes's whole body trembled slightly. "It… it was the financial statements… I put the financial statements from the past few years on that USB drive."
'Just as I thought.'
'Colin Sterling has no shortage of schemes, each one more idiotic than the last.'
Aria Sterling smiled faintly.
"You may go."
She couldn't even be bothered to waste time on Ruby Rhodes and dismissed her directly.
Ruby Rhodes was visibly stunned for a moment.
"Huh?"
"What, do you need me to see you out?"
