Long Ao had never been able to figure it out. The Celestial Dao had already slain the Ancient Divine Dragon, so why hadn't it dealt with the Dragon Race?
The principle of "failing to pull up the roots means the weeds will grow back in the spring"—Long Ao refused to believe the Celestial Dao was unaware of it. Since it knew, why would it invite future trouble for itself?
Ultimately, the Celestial Dao was still wary of the Ancient Divine Dragon and wanted to use the Dragon Race to lure it out.
'What a shameless Celestial Dao.'
"Ancient Qilin, even though you're unwilling to help me, I hope you can keep this a secret."
"That, I can promise."
The Ancient Divine Dragon and the Ancient Qilin said no more. In the next moment, the two Ancient Divine Beasts vanished simultaneously, and the Ancient Qilin took the Water Qilin with it.
