Liu Shiting huffed and started complaining, "You said you'd buy me a 5 Series, but you just had to get me a 3 Series. And now you're saying it's not presentable."
"Well, I was just worried that it wouldn't look right for a first-year university girl like you to be driving a car that's too expensive," Mrs. Liu teased awkwardly.
Liu Shiting didn't respond. She just took the car keys her mom handed her and left.

Liu Shiting deliberately timed her arrival. She watched from a distance as Jiang Sifan approached the Starbucks entrance, only getting out of the driver's seat when he was close.

Of course, at his age, he didn't bother trying to distinguish between a 3 Series and a 5 Series.
