Chapter 3 - The First love3

Chapter 3: Seeds of Misunderstanding

1. Li Li's Conspiracy

Ever since the argument with Li Li at the bubble tea shop, Xia Yu's mood had been low. Li Li's words were like a thorn, stuck in her heart, causing her a dull ache.

She began to become suspicious, constantly doubting whether Lin Feng really loved her as he said he did. She began to fear that Li Li's prediction would come true.

And Li Li didn't stop there. She had been secretly plotting to break up Lin Feng and Xia Yu.

First, she spread more rumors, slandering Xia Yu's character, saying that she was a manipulative person who deliberately approached Lin Feng in order to get close to him.

Then, she created various opportunities to approach Lin Feng, showing him goodwill and trying to make him misunderstand Xia Yu.

2. Disagreements on Studying

As the midterm exams approached, the pressure to study increased. Lin Feng and Xia Yu both devoted most of their time to studying.

However, they had some disagreements on studying methods.

Lin Feng liked to think independently and study on his own. He believed that only through his own efforts could he truly master knowledge.

Xia Yu liked to discuss with her classmates and help each other. She believed that the power of the group was infinite and could solve problems better.

Due to the differences in studying methods, Lin Feng and Xia Yu spent less and less time studying together. Their communication also became less and less.

3. The Basketball Game Loss

Lin Feng's foot injury gradually healed, and he returned to the basketball team. He trained hard, wanting to win glory for the school in the upcoming games.

However, due to a long period of rest, his condition had not fully recovered. In an important game, he performed poorly, leading to the team's loss.

After the game, Lin Feng felt very frustrated. He felt that he had failed everyone's expectations and the school's trust.

He came to the school field alone, silently sitting there, thinking about the meaning of life.

At this time, Li Li walked over. She walked to Lin Feng's side and said gently, "Lin Feng, don't be too sad. Victory and defeat are common in war, one loss is nothing."

Lin Feng looked up and glanced at Li Li without saying a word.

"I know you're feeling very uncomfortable, you can tell me if you have anything you want to say," Li Li continued.

Lin Feng was silent for a while, and finally opened his mouth and said, "I don't know what to do. I feel like I've lost my direction."

"You just need a listener, someone who can give you support and encouragement," Li Li said, "If you don't mind, I can be your listener."

Lin Feng looked at Li Li's sincere eyes, and his heart wavered a little. He nodded and said, "Thank you."

4. Xia Yu's Misunderstanding

After Xia Yu learned about Lin Feng's loss in the game, she was very worried about him. She wanted to go to Lin Feng to comfort him, but found that he was not in the classroom.

She searched everywhere and finally found Lin Feng on the school field. However, what she saw was Lin Feng and Li Li together.

They were very close, and Li Li was gently comforting Lin Feng. Lin Feng's face also showed a rare smile.

Seeing this scene, Xia Yu's heart felt like it had been stabbed with a needle. She felt very sad and very disappointed.

She turned and left the school field, tears streaming down her face. She felt that Lin Feng no longer needed her. He had found a new reliance.

5. The Cold War at the Bubble Tea Shop

The next day, Lin Feng and Xia Yu came to the bubble tea shop again. However, this time, they were full of indifference and alienation.

They silently drank their bubble tea, and no one spoke. The air was filled with an awkward and oppressive atmosphere.

"Lin Feng, what is your relationship with Li Li?" Xia Yu finally couldn't help but ask.

"We're just ordinary friends," Lin Feng replied, his tone a little unnatural.

"Ordinary friends?" Xia Yu sneered, "Would ordinary friends be so close? Would ordinary friends comfort each other?"

"Xia Yu, let me explain," Lin Feng tried to explain, but Xia Yu interrupted him.

"I don't want to hear your explanation," Xia Yu said, "I've already seen it, I already understand. You don't love me anymore."

After speaking, Xia Yu got up and left the bubble tea shop, leaving Lin Feng alone there in a daze.

Their relationship seemed to have come to an end.
