Location: Private Desert Sector (Thar), Rajasthan
After a brief rest at the Udaipur Palace, the convoy of 50 arrived at a secluded sector of the Thar Desert, sealed off entirely by the N.D.A.I. Golden sand dunes stretched as far as the eye could see under a brilliant blue sky.
The moment the vehicles stopped, the 19 Elite Dungers (Asura Elites and Raghav's team) sprang into action. They deployed four futuristic machines at the perimeter—"Mobile Mana-Neutralizers" (MP-Pylons).
"Pylons active!" Raghav reported.
Adiraj checked the energy levels on his tablet. "Good. The machines have covered a 5-kilometer radius. They will absorb any MP spikes or physical energy leakage. This means you can finally use a fraction of your true strength without alerting international satellites or tearing the crust of the earth apart."
A predatory glint appeared in the eyes of Jaxson, Jin-Woo, and the other foreign Sovereigns. They had been suppressing their physical abilities for so long that being able to let loose felt like taking their first breath in weeks.
The N.D.A.I. Sand-Wraiths
Adiraj gestured toward 15 specialized "Sand-Wraith" armored SUVs. These weren't standard vehicles; they were engineered for high-tier Dungers. Their engines roared like fighter jets, and their tires were designed to maintain a grip on shifting sands even at speeds of 250 km/hr.
"Enough talk," Shiva said, tossing his black jacket onto a seat and sliding into the driver's side of a Sand-Wraith. "Jaxson, Jin-Woo... and you Elites! Line up. Let's see whose reflexes are sharper."
Adiraj provoked his Elites with a rare incentive: "Listen up! If you beat the Master (Shiva), your bonus for next month doubles. Enjoy yourselves, but win!"
The Great Desert Race
"3... 2... 1... GO!"
Fifteen vehicles erupted simultaneously, sending massive plumes of sand into the air. This wasn't off-roading; it was a high-octane display of superhuman reflexes.
Jaxson launched his vehicle off a 40-foot dune. Using his superhuman coordination, he stabilized the SUV mid-air and landed perfectly. Shiva wasn't far behind, executing a sharp cut through a dune and leaving a literal sandstorm in his wake as he overtook Jaxson.
On a distant, high dune, the family sat in awe.
"Good heavens! They're making those cars fly!" Papa exclaimed.
Dada-ji leaned on his cane and laughed. "Shiva and his friends... they're completely mad. But when you have that much money, I suppose you buy expensive hobbies."
The family believed this was just a high-priced adventure. They had no idea that inside those SUVs, the drivers were pushing the boundaries of the sound barrier, their muscles generating forces thousands of times greater than a normal human's.
The Silent Observer
Rudra sat on the sand with Kiara in his lap. Every time Shiva's car jumped, Kiara cheered and clapped. "Chachu fast! Faster!"
Rudra's eyes, however, were fixed on the trajectory of the cars and the mana-absorption data from the Pylons. He analyzed how Jaxson used physical force to drift the vehicle, his predator mind searching for combat logic even in this moment of fun.
Nearby, Mason Steele and Jon watched the chaos. Mason noticed Jaxson and Alistair—men who usually lived in the shadow of death—screaming and laughing like children.
"Jon," Mason said quietly. "This is it, isn't it? The reason we started all this?"
Jon offered a peaceful smile. "Yes, Mason. 'Humanity'. Power isn't just for killing enemies; it's for being able to laugh with your own."
The Aftermath
The race lasted an hour, leaving the sand dunes completely rearranged. When the group returned to the base, they were a mess. Sand was in their hair, their clothes, and even their mouths.
Shiva stepped out, sweat and sand coating his skin, but his eyes were bright with adrenaline. Jaxson clapped him on the shoulder, and the two roared with laughter.
Dadi called them over, dusting sand off their heads. "Have my children finished playing? Don't you dare bring all that dirt inside the palace. Now move, it's tea time."
The world-class Sovereigns, who could intimidate entire nations, stood in a silent line, obediently listening to Dadi's scolding.
4:30 PM. As the sun began its descent, the desert air grew cool. The group of 50, exhausted but genuinely happy, headed back to the Royal convoy. Their next stop: a Royal High-Tea at the palace, where the peace of the evening awaited them.
