As Garwhole began to move his wings, the three guys felt a strong wind pressing towards them. Vane immediately turned into a buffalo, and although his body was weakened, he could resist in that form.
Darian tried to shoot multiple ice shards towards the enemy, but they got destroyed by the strong wind. Only a few were able to reach Garwhole, but they were extremely weak, so Garwhole did not even flinch.
On the other hand, Allocen was the only one fully resisting. He tried to create some ground spikes to hit Garwhole, but the wings were really resistant, and although the spikes pierced into Garwhole's skin, he did not even flinch.
"Why aren't you using your golem to attack him, Allocen…" said Darian as he tried to resist the wind pressure. Vane was able to free himself and run towards him, but every time he moved he flinched because of how weakened he was.
"Once I get out from the golem, I'm not able to summon it again. We have to do it without him," said Allocen as he was able to run right and take the enemy from the side. Darian was the only one who still remained in the middle of the wind.
"Ice armour!!" shouted Darian as he created an ice armour on his body. The shards were able to make him rush forward, but as Garwhole noticed that the humans split themselves, he stopped the wind.
From the left, Vane, who had turned into a buffalo, rushed towards him. Garwhole simply floated from the ground and stopped him by his horns.
"Woah, chill down…" said Garwhole playfully as he completely blocked Vane. Seeing Darian coming and Allocen arriving too, he immediately flew up. Darian and Vane bumped into each other, the armour on Darian's body hit Vane and sent him away.
Allocen was the only one who did not bump against them. He stopped a few steps before and created multiple spikes from the ground, but Garwhole simply destroyed them with his claws.
'I should probably take care of the weakest one first…' thought Garwhole as he immediately rushed towards Vane spinning. Garwhole's body became like a drill that was about to pierce into Vane's body.
Darian, seeing that, immediately created an ice wall, but it was too thin, so it got destroyed almost immediately. Still, thanks to the wall, Vane had the time to react. He hardened his whole body, so Garwhole was not able to kill him completely, although he left a huge wound.
"Vanee!!" shouted Darian as he rushed towards Vane. Garwhole was a bit confused because a few seconds ago his body was literally a spinner, so Allocen did not lose the occasion and tried to bury him underground, and Garwhole could not resist.
Allocen remained still. He wanted to move Garwhole away by putting him underground, but the strength was too much, he had to focus. On the other hand, Darian immediately arrived to Vane, who returned human after the hit, and started to move him somewhere safe, not in the middle of the battlefield.
"Allocen, I'll leave this to you, try to resist!" yelled Darian as he grabbed some bandages from his bag. He left that in the same spot where they launched that powerful ice shard, so he was far enough from the battlefield.
'Tch, I might actually need to use that…' thought Allocen as Garwhole was able to free himself from the ground, leaving a huge hole.
"I wonder why you aren't using that golem of yours…" said Garwhole as he flew extremely fast towards Allocen, who defended himself with some spikes.
"Is it because you can't use it anymore or what!!!" yelled Garwhole as he smashed the spikes that were coming towards him with his claws.
Garwhole smirked, Allocen remained serious as he jumped back and Garwhole landed directly on the ground. Then the soil opened and Garwhole was buried once again underground.
Allocen fell on his knee, breathing heavily. He watched behind towards Darian and Vane. Darian was still trying to cover his injuries, but both of them were extremely weak right now.
'That means I should find a way to use that without anyone noticing me…' thought him as he watched right below him. 'It's him!' thought Allocen as he jumped. Garwhole literally smashed the ground with his own claws.
Allocen landed next to his two friends, Darian still busy healing Vane.
"Allocen, tell me you have a plan!" yelled Darian as he finished healing Vane's wounds. He then got up, although he was almost falling. Garwhole was a bit tired because digging in the ground was really hard, so he remained still, breathing heavily.
"Yeah… you will simply need to pass out and I'll take care of everything," said Allocen with a serious face. Darian, confused, did not even have the time to react when a black spike appeared from the ground, touching his feet.
"You will remember that you passed out," said Allocen as Darian felt his whole energy being drained by the black spike. After 3 seconds he fell on the ground unconscious.
Garwhole watched that and laughed, confused.
"Hahaha… what do you think you can do alone without them, little one?" said Garwhole as he started to spin towards Allocen at extreme speed. It was basically impossible to dodge.
Allocen did not answer, instead he moved extremely fast. Garwhole ended on the ground.
'Eh? How was he able to dodge this… what happened…' thought him as he searched for the human around. As he saw it, he noticed something different, his back was glowing, a dark and purple light came out from it.
"I never like to use it because it reminds me too much of my past…" said Allocen as he got his hand up. The ground under Garwhole became black, it was a circle of 5 feet. Garwhole noticed that and immediately flew away, scared, but suddenly an arm grabbed him. This arm was black, and from the ground a new golem came out, but now, rather than brown, it was black.
"What? What is this supposed to be? Phocylides told me that humans can only use one type of magic… it seems like you use two, how is this possibleee!??" yelled Garwhole, both scared and mad.
Allocen did not answer, he simply created huge black spikes from the ground. Differently from the other ones he used, these spikes were totally black, with some purple at the top of them.
As the spikes grew fast, Allocen fell on one knee, his whole body started to bleed faster too. But Garwhole was smashed on the ground from Allocen's second golem. Luckily for him, he did not pierce into one of the black spikes.
These types of spikes did not only take the strength from the enemy, but also its life force, so Garwhole immediately felt 100 times weaker. He was not about to lose consciousness… but to lose his life in general.
"No… this can't be happening!!!" yelled Garwhole as he tried to grab something from his body, hidden inside his left wing in a small pocket, which was created directly into his body.
'I have to take that faster or I will diee!!' thought Garwhole, scared. Allocen remained still as his eyes became totally black.
"HEREE!!!" yelled Garwhole as he grabbed one of the green rocks from his body. As he smashed the rock, it became red, and after a few seconds a portal appeared in front of him.
"You dummy… I need it down below meeeeeEEEEEEE!!!!" yelled Garwhole as from the portal Anacreon's face came out.
"Ohhhhh… sorry my bad," said him as he returned from the portal and opened one exactly under Garwhole, who fell inside of it.
Allocen heard everything, although he could not see anything because of the spikes. Suddenly he did not feel Garwhole's presence anymore, and he fell on one knee. Suddenly he heard a voice, it was Liro.
"I must remove everything…" said Allocen as he was able to remove everything at the last moment. Any evidence of his other power? It was like they never existed.
"GUYSS!!" yelled Liro as he saw Allocen on one knee and Darian collapsed on top of Vane.
"I'm alright… check the others…" said Allocen as he got up. Liro rushed towards Darian and Vane. After a few seconds Allocen reached him too.
"So? In the other parts of the battlefield, how is it going?" asked Allocen, worried about what he might hear.
"Allen died…" said Liro, lowering his tone. Allocen turned even more silent.
"Now Jaune should have finished saving Nysira… I think we can go—" Liro could not even finish the sentence when a huge roar came out. Allocen and Liro turned towards it and noticed the cross where Nysira was. Around it there was something huge. It was like a lizard but bigger, it was a dinosaur!
"AGAHAGHAGAHAGAHA let's see what you can do against this toy!!!" yelled Sappho as Jaune could only feel scared at the sight of that huge creature. What even was that?
"If I'm correct they should be called dinosaurs… and they were here even before the humans arrived on the earth," added Sappho as she sent the huge animal towards Jaune. Nysira, stuck on the cross, could barely move.
