What are innate techniques exactly?
Innate techniques are unique, congenitally engraved abilities in Jujutsu sorcerers, which act as a sorcerer's primary skill set, usually manifesting around age five.
Naoya Zenin's innate technique is without a doubt Projection Sorcery, which he got from Naobito's bloodline. A technique that is hailed for its excellent speed property. In Jujutsu society only a handful of sorcerers can be said to even be on the same level of speed compared to Projection sorcerers, Naoya Zenin, himself.
Projection Sorcery is Naoya Zenin, not the soul possessing the Naoya Zenin body. Just like how the Jujutsu law determines the twin as one individual, it determines Naoya Zenin as two separate individuals in the same body.
So when the danger level came to the max critical, Naoya's subconscious instinctively activated the innate technique of the soul, which possessed Naoya Zenin's body.
The soul that possesses Naoya Zenin is someone who, even at death's door, didn't despair, one who lived his life defining the reality around him, one who, even when the start failed, always had the outcome within his plan. And in accordance with that soul's personality and will, the innate technique bloomed.
And the technique name is "Karmic Override" or "Inga Uwagaki," both denoting the same innate technique.
And its power is incredibly simple: to edit the final outcome, a type of reality-interference technique. Not the process. Not the attack. Only the outcome whether it is opponent's or his.

I swing my free hand and curse, "The result is a heavy punch." Because my Blinding Vow also increased my physical strength, and staking it with my technique command, the punch packed a power to pulverize its chest.
"Did you see that? I am good or great." I grinned as I looked at Mei Mei.
The curse, of course, started to heal.
The curse landed an attack.
"The result of this attack is superficial damage." Uttering that made the punch of Curse only glance at my stomach without much damage. Without a second thought, Naoya retaliates.

And just like that a sharp hole appeared in the curse's body.

Thus started the one-sided attack on Curse.

Mei Mei looked at the fight in front of her with surprise. From the beginning, she was certain that she would die if she came back, and for sorcerers like her, it was no problem as she was determined.
