Chapter 8 - Taking Him Out

Song Jue, well-fed and satisfied, went to court refreshed after a night without sleep. But I, a great ghost who cultivated for thousands of years, was sickly lying in bed catching up on sleep.

Is this what immortals are like? Even descending for trials in the mortal realm is so gifted?

When I lazily woke up and walked out barefoot, I saw Song Jue sitting outside reviewing memorials, with lamp shadows flickering.

Song Jue looked up and smiled at me. He said, "Sister isn't wearing shoes?"

I lifted my foot and said indifferently, "I'm a ghost. I'm not cold."

Song Jue's index finger tapped the memorial. He said, "I think sister is seducing me. I'm not worried about sister catching a cold."

I shouted angrily, "Get lost!" I ran, and I only heard that person laughing behind.

Song Jue was going to offer heaven's sacrifice. I couldn't go. I was alone and very bored.

He looked at me and touched my head. He was somewhat presumptuous. He said, "Does sister want to try again?"

I glanced at him and said, "Try what?"

Song Jue just smiled and didn't speak. I understood. He wanted me to try going out.

Those hundreds of years of pain and despair, I wasn't really willing to try. I pushed his hand away and shrank inward. I said, "No!"

Song Jue was clearly a person who pushed for more. He leaned toward me and bewitched. He said, "Since sister can see me, maybe I can bring sister out?"

I became excited and hope rose again. I said, "Okay!"

Song Jue covered my eyes. He said, "Sister." His voice was light, sighing, helpless, doting, and thrilling.

My heart hung. I was led by Song Jue, and I left the palace. I excitedly ran forward, eager to experience the outside scene, yet I was pulled back by a strong force.

Song Jue flew over and grabbed me. My body, shooting back, finally stopped. I was very depressed. I said, "Can't leave you?"

Song Jue raised his eyebrows and side-glanced at me. His expression was rarely somewhat gloomy. He said, "Could sister want to leave me?"

My heart skipped. After all, I had agreed to Destiny Bringer. Seeing me still not speaking, Song Jue's beautiful little face grew more gloomy, and his hand holding mine tightened. Only then did I come back to reality. I said, "How could I!" After saying, I turned his face and kissed to comfort.

Accompanying Song Jue's sacrifice, I naturally stood beside him boldly. Anyway, no one could see me.

This person in dark red dragon robes showed a charm not belonging to him.

Through the sunlight, I squinted and discovered a shocking fact. Song Jue's yang energy had faded slightly.

After the sacrifice ended, Song Jue held me in his arms, very close. He said, "Is sister bored? Why is sister absent-minded?"

I gently pushed him and created distance. I looked at him sideways. I said, "Being with me, your yang energy has faded."

The words "being together," I paused when saying them. Surely Song Jue understood what I meant by "being together."

His expression turned somewhat unpleasant, and his voice was also somewhat hoarse. He said, "Does sister not want to be with me anymore?" I seemed to hear a threatening tone. I couldn't help but smile and raise my eyebrows. I said, "What do you think?"

The corner of Song Jue's lips that was still hooked froze. He said, "No."

I thought he was very cute. I hooked around his neck and said, "You're my person now. Alive or dead, I naturally won't let go."

Moreover, I already know how to help Song Jue pass the love tribulation.

Hearing my words, emotions surged in Song Jue's beautiful eyes. He grabbed my waist and kissed, kissing extremely forcefully and fiercely.
