Chapter 7 - His Coronation

I hadn't figured out what to do. In a daze, the Emperor passed away, and Song Jue ascended the throne. Everything happened so fast that I hadn't reacted yet.

Looking at Song Jue in dragon robes, I thought this child might not be so simple. Thinking about deceiving him later, I felt a bit guilty.

After the national mourning, the selection of concubines was imminent.

Song Jue stood there, reviewing memorials, and asked my opinion.

I pressed down my displeasure and said, "You choose. How would I know? Pick whoever catches your eye."

Song Jue's expression was cold, and his voice was also cold. He said, "Is that so?"

I nodded randomly.

I don't know what kind of women caught Song Jue's eye. The concubines he chose were all different types, plump and slim. It was quite varied.

Tonight, Song Jue visited Lady Liu. I couldn't sit still. I drifted to Lady Liu's palace, only to see Lady Liu kneeling on the bed with an anxious expression, while Song Jue was coldly handling government affairs.

Xiao Yu raised his head and saw me. The gloom in his brows melted. He smiled gently and amorously and said, "Why did sister come here?"

I answered with a question. I said, "Then why are you out here reviewing memorials?"

This person responded like playing a game. He said, "What does sister think?"

I turned and left. Joking. Playing with me?

Just as I was leaving the hall, someone grabbed me and pulled me into an embrace. His pointed chin rested on my shoulder and neck. He said, "Sister's temper is really big."

I snorted lightly. I grabbed the hand hugging me and said, "Then do you endure it?"

Song Jue laughed and said, "Enduring."

That hot breath spread, making my face red and warm. It was itching unbearably.

I've never been pretentious. Hearing him say that, I naturally turned around. I smiled into his gentle eyes. He was so beautiful. I covered his eyes with my hand and gently pulled his collar with the other, making him bend down. Then I just covered his lips. His lips were thin and soft, somewhat cold and somewhat sweet, lightly colored. They were beautiful and nice to kiss.

Before I could savor it, Song Jue held my waist and started attacking. I don't know how long it was when this person stopped. He picked me up and walked.

I instinctively hooked around his neck. Actually, I wanted to say I'm a ghost and can float back myself. But the atmosphere was ambiguous, and Song Jue's eyes were red at the corners, extremely charming. I simply nestled in his arms to appreciate the beauty.

This person lowered his head to look at me. His voice was somewhat hoarse and wanting. He said, "Don't look at me like that."

Before I could explore why, this person threw me onto the bed and used physical action to show why I shouldn't look at him like that.

I shouted hoarsely. I thought ghosts wouldn't get tired. I was wrong. On Song Jue, I could feel body temperature, and under him, I could naturally feel tiredness. I said, "Don't want to anymore!"

I thought I shouted fiercely, yet this person bit me. He said, "Sister calling like that—isn't it seducing me?"
