But Mui ignored them.
He slowly walked toward the box.

"O Box… the time has come for you to open!"
"Box of Ultimate Bliss!"
Tears streamed down his face as his voice trembled with pleading.
"Please… let me see my son again."
"Let me see Muku."
"Box of Ultimate Bliss… grant my wish!"
Dark mist and white light began to seep out from the box.
The Kusagakure leaders were stunned.
"What are you doing, Mui?!"
"Have you lost your mind?!"
Mui answered calmly:
"In my heart, Kusagakure no longer exists."
"A village this dark and corrupt… all I can say is that the First Hokage did the right thing."
The elders flew into a rage.
"Mui, you traitor!"
They were just about to attack—
When the Box of Ultimate Bliss opened.
A pale-faced Muku stepped out of the box, his expression blank.
"…Muku…"
"Father?"
Hearing those words, Mui rushed forward in excitement.
"Muku, I'm sorry! It was my fault—"

Before he could finish speaking, Muku's hand pierced straight through his chest.
Looking down at Mui collapsing into a pool of blood, Muku sneered.
"Yes. Father was wrong."
"The mistake was letting me out."
Suddenly, Muku screamed in agony.
His body twisted grotesquely.
Moments later—
He transformed into a black, winged monster with a long tail.

Nagi stabilized himself midair and landed safely.

It rivals that of a Tailed Beast.
Suddenly, Satori dove straight toward Samui.
Samui had only just regained her footing when the creature appeared before her, raising its claws.
She quickly raised her short blade in defense—
But was still sent flying by the impact.
Spreading its wings, Satori pursued her.
At the critical moment—
Nagi appeared beside Samui in a flash.
He wrapped his arms around her and held her firmly.
Just as Satori's claws descended—
Nagi activated the Flying Thunder God Technique, teleporting them away.

Meanwhile, Satori noticed its target had vanished.

Satori twisted its body midair and easily avoided the attack.
Nagi continued firing multiple water streams in rapid succession.
But Satori dodged every one of them with astonishing agility.
Nagi frowned.
"A body that large… yet this agile."
Still, the barrage forced Satori away from Shizuka.
Seizing the opportunity, Nagi moved to her side.
At that moment, Samui approached with Ameno and said:
"Nagi, earlier I saw a black box near the hill."
"Based on historical records and the actions of these Kusagakure shinobi… I believe that was the legendary Box of Ultimate Bliss."
"And this creature…"
"…is likely the weapon born from it — Satori."
Kumogakure had investigated the artifact before.
But deeper research suggested something disturbing.
The Box of Ultimate Bliss was not a wish-granting relic from the era of the Sage of Six Paths.

A terrifying weapon.
