Although determined to win the Holy Grail for Kariya, Nyx didn't have much confidence in winning the war.
With the system's assistance, he had already manifested his own Noble Phantasm; however, while powerful, it had many limitations. After all, he wasn't a god of this world; his divine status and duties were suppressed. Recklessly unleashing his full power could potentially cause the entire world to collapse, which would be a huge loss.
He needed to find a way to outsmart him.
"What's wrong, Nyx?" Kariya sensed something was off about him today. "Is the food not to your liking?"
Normally, he would have finished everything on the table!
For someone who had lived in a primitive world for millions of years, being able to eat delicious modern food again was pure bliss. During his time at the Matou family's house, Nyx spent his days either trying to improve his strength or playing games, reading comics, and waiting for meals. Therefore, the Matou family specially prepared an extra-large bowl for this gluttonous Heroic Spirit.
Situations like tonight where the food wasn't finished are almost never seen!
Have they all forgotten that Heroic Spirits don't actually need to eat...? Nix was internally devastated. What kind of image did he have in their eyes?!
"Eating is just to satisfy a craving," Nix said. "There are more important things to do tonight."
"More important things? The manga has been updated?" Kariya accidentally blurted out his thoughts.
"…"
Can I take down Master? Urgent! I need help online!
"Since the beginning of today, that guy has been like a human teddy bear, leaving his magical marks everywhere, probably trying to lure people out," Nix explained to Kariya.
"An enemy Servant?"
"Yes, and it seems someone has already accepted that guy's invitation." It must be said that most Heroic Spirits are quite cautious, not rushing to fight him rashly. But this guy, it's unclear whether he's overconfident in his strength or simply lacking common sense.
The Saber-like King sneezed.
"Anyway, let's get there first. I have a feeling there'll be a big battle tonight."
The location Nix sensed was at the port of Fuyuki City, not too far from the Matou family's residence. After considering it for a moment, to avoid alerting the enemy, they decided that Kariya would drive there.

"Be careful, Saber. I can only perform some healing magic for you; I can't do anything else." Irisviel was very nervous. The enemy Heroic Spirit dared to challenge them head-on, and being one of the three great knights, Lancer, their strength was certainly not weak. "I'm not Saber's true Master, so I can't use Command Seals to support her; my abilities are limited."
"That's enough, Irisviel."
The armored girl, the Knight King, said confidently.
"As expected of a Saber-class Heroic Spirit, it's an honor to face such a chivalrous opponent in my first battle." The girl before Lancer had a strange glint in her eyes.
"Charm magic?" Saber clearly sensed the strange magical power emanating from her opponent, but her excellent magic resistance as a Saber-class Servant successfully negated her tricks. Was this Lancer's special ability?
"I'm sorry, this is an innate, curse-like ability of mine, one I can't shake off no matter what." Lancer seemed helpless, casually placing her twin pistols at her sides. "I can only blame myself for not being born, or rather, for not being born a woman."
Upon hearing this, Lancer clearly felt Saber's aura intensify.
"You're so casual, wielding a gun." Saber's sword erupted with immense magical power. "Are you hoping my swordsmanship isn't up to par?!"
The two exchanged barbs, neither showing any intention of backing down.
"Then, come on!"
As Lancer's words fell, Saber's slash charged forward! The invisible sword clashed fiercely with the twin pistols.
"Impressive."
Nix remarked, currently hiding atop a shipping container with Kariya.
"Whether it's that girl or that narcissistic gun-wielding guy, both are genuine masters." Nix glanced at the white-haired woman behind Saber, "Is that Saber's Master...?"
He silently calculated the probability of taking down the enemy Master from this distance. Forget it, he'd probably give up; Saber would sense him the moment he drew his sword.
The battle between Saber and Lancer intensified. Then, Lancer's Master spoke, granting Lancer permission to use his Noble Phantasm to finish off his opponent. "A Noble Phantasm…"
Nyx felt a mixture of anticipation and nervousness. This was the first time he'd seen another Heroic Spirit's Noble Phantasm, and he wondered how it differed from his own. Lancer didn't disappoint. Her uniquely powerful Noble Phantasm, combined with her exceptional spearmanship, forced even Saber, with her swordsmanship, into a difficult struggle.
After Lancer used her Noble Phantasm, the tide of battle turned. The length of her invisible sword was now known to her opponent, and her right hand was cursed and incurable. Currently, Lancer seemed to have the upper hand in this battle.
"Two Noble Phantasms… a red spear to ward off evil, a yellow spear to curse." Nyx mentally estimated his chances against such an opponent.
On the other side, two Heroic Spirits, seemingly reincarnated history professors, had deduced their opponent's identity by observing their Noble Phantasms and were exchanging compliments.
"King Arthur was actually a woman?!" Kariya felt deceived by his history teacher; weren't they all supposed to be handsome men in legends?!
"After all, no one can predict history," Nix said. The system still had some information about King Arthur; the A++ level Excalibur, when fully unleashed, was a force to be reckoned with, and he currently had no means to withstand such an attack.
Just as Nix was pondering how to deal with these two Heroic Spirits, his divine essence suddenly trembled, and lightning descended from the sky, exploding between the two Heroic Spirits!
"Ora ora ora—"
A massive chariot pulled by a black divine bull descended from the sky!
