### The Kingdom of Aturia
In the Kingdom of Aturia, one of the classmates summoned to this world, Jarreck, was known as the Nightmare Terror.
He was so powerful that every knight and hero party feared his name. Blessed by the Grandmaster of Darkness, he possessed overwhelming power that made him a nightmare for every hero aligned with light.
He was the embodiment of darkness... born to stand against heroes blessed with justice and good.
"Hmmm..." Jarreck rested his chin on his hand. "Since I came to this world, I've done nothing but dominate every party and hero in this kingdom. I heard there are many kingdoms with stronger armies and capable warriors... kingdoms like Nacia, the largest kingdom in all of Lumeria, and Brugia, the second largest. I need to pay a visit to one of them. I believe most of my classmates will be there"
His thoughts drifted toward a certain person.
That guy... Dranexx.
"Yeah, he seems quite powerful. The guy had the guts to challenge a Grandmaster. Not just any Grandmaster, but one among the top 7. That guy is crazy... but I am even crazier with my powers"
A faint grin appeared on his face.
"I don't think I'll find anyone who can defeat me in this kingdom... but I don't know about the others. I may be the strongest here, but outside of here... I don't think so. I'm sure there are more powerful people out there"
His gaze lowered.
"Well, if I want to grow stronger, I need to evolve my Unique Skill"
His Unique Skill was called Counter.
It possessed five powerful sub-skills:
• Physical Counter
• Reflection of Despair
• Tactical Counter
• Backstab Emergence
• Shadow Slip
He also possessed additional skills such as Pain Nullification, Holy Magic Resistance, Ultra-Speed Healing, and Multi-Layer Barrier.
These abilities allowed him to defeat countless heroes and adventurers.
During Aturia's war against Narukia, he was the one who crushed their armies. He single-handedly killed seventy-eight thousand soldiers and defeated five heroes.
From that day onward, he became known as the Nightmare Terror.
A name feared throughout Aturia.
Among all his abilities, Reflection of Despair was the strongest.
When activated, every action taken against him by multiple enemies created a dark replica of that action. Coordinated attacks became chaos. Entire groups could find themselves overwhelmed by their own assaults.
Then there was Physical Counter.
Any direct strike a sword slash, punch, or projectile could be reflected back stronger, absorbed to heal or empower him, or twisted toward another target.
Next came Tactical Counter
This ability allowed him to predict enemy movements through subtle cues and dismantle strategies before they could succeed. Traps backfired. Ambushes failed. Coordinated attacks fell apart
Backstab Emergence allowed him to emerge directly from an enemy's shadow and strike without warning.
Shadow Slip allowed him to enter one shadow and reappear from another a short distance away.
Together, these abilities made him a terror among heroes.
His name echoed throughout both kingdoms.
"Pttth..." Jarreck scoffed. "What's the point of sitting here and waiting for war to come? I might as well go find it myself. Maybe I'll even run into one of my classmates"
His grin widened.
"That'll be a legendary day. Either they kill me... or I kill them. I don't care anymore. In this world, we can do whatever we want, so it doesn't matter who I run into"
His eyes gleamed.
"I'll fight them"
His goal was simple.
Dominate every classmate who had been summoned alongside him.
After making up his mind, Jarreck headed toward the royal palace to meet the King of Aturia, Madura Akumiho.
King Madura looked at him with raised brows.
"You want to explore the outside kingdoms? Surely you mean the whole of Lumeria, huh?"
"Yes, sire"
"But why?"
Jarreck shrugged.
"You see, I've grown too bored since the last war between Narukia and our kingdom. I long for more battles to dominate... then I had an idea. If I want that, I have to travel far beyond my reach outside the Kingdom of Aturia. I know there are strong people out there... but there's something I need to take care of. That's why I must go"
"Ahhh..." The king leaned back on his throne. "You are the strongest warrior in our kingdom. The war is over now since we defeated Narukia. I doubt they'll bother us for another hundred years. Still... are you going to stay long?"
"That, I don't know... but I will surely come back. You have nothing to worry about. You still have Achiku and the rest of the knights"
"Yes... but your power is needed"
The king sighed before shaking his head.
"Still, we'll be fine. I will supply you with money and food. Please be careful. We all need you alive"
Jarreck smirked.
"Sure... I'm not going down easily, Your Highness"
"I know that. So, when will you leave?"
"Tonight, sir"
"Hmmm... so soon?"
The king rubbed his forehead.
"Alright then. Kupita, arrange his departure and prepare everything he needs"
"Right away, sir"
"Stay strong out there, Jarreck"
"I will, sir"
The king suddenly smiled.
"My daughter will be worried... have you told her?"
"Not yet. I'll do that now—"
"No need"
A voice echoed from behind them.
Everyone turned.
Standing at the entrance was the king's daughter, Kyo.
She folded her arms and frowned.
"I can't believe you're leaving us just like that..."
Jarreck scratched the back of his head.
"I'm sorry for dropping this unannounced... but I have to. It's personal"
"Personal? You can't even share it with me? That's not fair..."
"I'm sorry"
Kyo stared at him for a moment.
"So you're going to stay long?"
"Yes"
"How long?"
"I don't know... but I promise it won't be that long"
"No. Set a date or I'm going with you"
Jarreck immediately shook his head.
"No, you can't. It's too dangerous. We don't know what we might run into"
"That goes the same for you!"
Her voice rose.
"Do you even know what you're walking into? There are beings out there that can defeat you easily. They won't even break a sweat. I know you're strong, but please... don't do this, Jar... please"
For the first time, Jarreck's expression softened slightly.
"I'm fully aware... but that won't stop me. I'm sorry"
Kyo lowered her head.
"So that's how it's going to be?"
"I'm sorry"
"Fine"
She looked away.
"Do whatever you want. I don't care anymore... but promise me you'll come back safely!!"
Jarreck nodded.
"I promise"
"Good..."
She let out a long breath.
"I just wish you'd tell me what's so important"
"It's personal. Besides... I'm doing this to protect you and this kingdom"
"Hmmm..."
Kyo pouted.
"I don't like this at all..."
King Madura chuckled.
"Kyo, let him be. I have complete faith he'll return safely"
At that moment, Kupita returned.
"Everything is prepared, sir"
"Good"
The king turned toward Jarreck.
"Everything is ready. Go spend some time with your wife-to-be before nightfall"
"Dad!"
Kyo's face instantly turned red.
The king laughed loudly.
"Ahhh, come on. He's your future husband. You two should enjoy yourselves. Who knows when you'll meet again? Make the most of it"
Both of them looked away in embarrassment.
A moment later, they quietly left the throne room together.
Outside the palace halls, Jarreck let out a sigh.
"Honestly... the king can be such a pain sometimes"
Kyo glanced at him.
"He's right though"
"Huh?"
Jarreck blinked in confusion.
Kyo stood in front of him, fidgeting slightly.
"Let's spend this time together... please"
For a moment, Jarreck simply stared.
Then he nodded.
"Okay"
A small smile appeared on Kyo's face
"Thank you"
Kyo let out a faint smile as she kiss Jarreck pulling him close to her …..The two of them spent the remainder of the day together before Jarreck's departure.
Eventually, night fell.
It was time to leave.
King Madura stood near the palace gates.
"Why can't you just stay?"
"I can't... but I'll be back soon. I promise"
The king sighed.
"Kyo, won't you say goodbye?"
"Hmph"
She crossed her arms.
Jarreck laughed.
"I'm leaving now... see you"
For a few seconds, Kyo remained silent.
Then she finally spoke.
"Be careful"
Jarreck smiled faintly.
"I will. Thank you"
With that, he turned and walked away.
The gates slowly opened.
His journey had begun.
A journey that would take him across kingdoms, battlefields, and unknown lands.
His goal remained unchanged.
He would find his classmates and he would prove his superiority over every one of them.
A new entertainment had begun
As the kingdom disappeared behind him, Jarreck let out a dark laugh.
"Tst... what nonsense"
Jarreck let out a dark laugh as he talks beneath the moonlight.
"Thinking I would marry that spoiled princess... kuhahahaha"
He shook his head.
"I was only playing along for my own needs. Still... she's got some useful qualities her body is so fresh i will so much miss that"
The kingdom slowly faded behind him, but he never once looked back.
"Honestly, they take things too seriously"
His grin widened.
"Well... that's not my problem anymore"
The cool night breeze brushed past him as he continued forward.
"Hmm... now I think I'll look for something new"
His eyes gleamed with anticipation.
"Maybe I'll run into one of my classmates sooner than expected"
A low chuckle escaped his lips.
"Kuhahahahahahahahahahahaha..."
