It was a cold and rainy night.the streets were almost empty,and the city felt unusually quiet.I walked alone under the dim streetlights,my clothes soaked and my mind full of worries. Life had never been kind to me,and that night felt heavier than usual.just a few hours earlier, I had lost my part_time job.The managers words still echoed in my head.No explanation,no sympathy_ just a simple rejection.With no money, no future plans,and no one to rely on,I felt completely lost.
As I crossed the road, my thoughts drifted away .I didn't notice the speeding car until it was too late.A blinding light flashed before my eyes, followed by a loud screech. Pain rushed through my body,and then everything went dark.
I thought that was the end.
But in the endless darkness, a strange mechanical voice suddenly rang in my head.
"System activated"
"Host detected"
I wanted to scream,but I couldn't move or speak. Dear filled my heart.
Suddenly, I gasped and open my eyes. I was lying on my bed, drenched in sweat.my room lokked exactly the same as before. With shaking hands,I grabbed my phone.
The date showed yesterday.
