Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: Explosive Revelations One After Another—God Valley Turns into a Massive Family Reunion Scene!

......

The powerhouses of God Valley stared at the scenes on the light screen. Quite a few pirates and Marines cast strange looks toward Whitebeard, Roger, and Rocks.

"Hahahaha, Roger, Rocks—your future sons both ended up following Whitebeard! That's really something. Did you two die early or what?!"

"Or are your sons in their rebellious phase? They don't even know their old men are big-time pirates?!"

Golden Lion Shiki saw Ace, as Roger's son, declaring he'd support Whitebeard to become king and even having Whitebeard's emblem tattooed on his back.

As the battle concluded, Golden Lion, loving the drama, started teasing with a gleeful grin.

Having seen Ace and Blackbeard settle their fight, he grew more and more curious about the images on this light screen.

It wasn't just Golden Lion—every major figure in God Valley found the scene refreshingly bizarre.

Whitebeard adopting Rocks' son? They could somewhat understand that, since the two had once sailed together.

But Roger's son being under Whitebeard's command too?!

That was downright absurd!

Moreover, from the earlier footage when Blackbeard killed his crewmate, the future Whitebeard seemed to carry quite a lot of prestige.

The reason? Everyone on the ship called him "Pops"!

"What the hell is this 'great event'? What kind of great event is going to happen? Roger, that kid really looks a lot like you—don't tell me he's mine too?!"

Gloriosa, the former former former Empress of Amazon Lily, Flame-Haired Gloriosa, saw Ace lose and felt heartbroken.

As someone who adored Roger and fawned over him, she now started believing Ace was the child of Roger and herself!

"Even if you say that, I'm completely in the dark right now!"

Hearing Gloriosa's words, Roger felt a chill run down his spine. This was truly eerie—this strange thing was broadcasting events from the future.

Scopper Gaban watched the gazes directed at the sky screen around them and quietly shared his thoughts with Roger and Rayleigh: "Roger, could this be some kind of Devil Fruit ability? The scenes in the sky are frighteningly realistic!"

The world is vast and full of wonders!

Devil Fruit powers come in many varieties, and Scopper figured this might be one of them.

Hearing Scopper's guess, Rayleigh and Roger exchanged a glance, then closed their eyes, using Observation Haki to quietly sense for any unusual presences nearby.

They scanned for several minutes. Rayleigh opened his eyes first, followed by Roger...

The two looked at each other and simultaneously shook their heads.

The surroundings were far too clean—no suspicious traces at all. Everyone in God Valley was fixated on the light screen!

"Weird things happen every year, but this year's especially packed!"

Seeing Roger and Rayleigh come up empty, Scopper could only treat the thing in the sky as some unknown phenomenon.

[Although our main topic is roasting Blackbeard, since it involves the Summit War, we have to mention it!]

[After successfully defeating and capturing Ace alive, Blackbeard handed Ace over to Marine Headquarters, thereby securing his position as a Warlord of the Sea!]

[Later, Fleet Admiral Sengoku, considering the sinful bloodline within Ace, disregarded the fury of one of the Four Emperors—Whitebeard—and decided to publicly execute Ace at Marineford...]

[The war that followed was incredibly brutal. When facing the World Government that ruled these seas, when facing the overwhelmingly powerful Marine Headquarters, only one man was hailed as the strongest in the world!]

[Whitebeard! Edward Newgate!]

[He personally led 47 pirate fleets in a direct assault—an unprecedented scale of piracy, an astonishing feat never seen before—invading the so-called "justice of the world," Marine Headquarters!]

[Even now, I still remember how shocking it was back then when Whitebeard made his entrance and displayed that earth-shattering, monstrous strength—it shook my young heart to the core!]

[Facing the full might of Marine Headquarters, only Edward Newgate, wielder of the strongest Paramecia-type "Tremor-Tremor Fruit," could—with a mere gesture—send towering, terrifying waves crashing over Marineford...]

Linley's voice-processed audio was broadcast through the light screen, fully reaching the ears of every pirate, Marine, and Celestial Dragon in God Valley.

Rocks, Roger, Kaido, Big Mom, Golden Lion, and all the other heavyweights now turned their gazes squarely onto Whitebeard!

Whitebeard himself, seeing his future self on the light screen, wore only an expression of bewilderment—no other emotions stirred.

"I... go to save Roger's son in the future? Then challenge Marine Headquarters and the World Government? This..."

Whitebeard furrowed his brows, muttering to himself, but soon exhaled a long breath as if coming to terms with it.

If Roger's son—this Fire Fist Ace—really joined his crew, then yes, he would go rescue him!

Even if he and Roger were enemies, it wouldn't matter.

Whitebeard's philosophy was simple: no matter whose child it was, to him, everyone was a child of the sea!

"Hahahaha, was I already that old by then?"

"Sengoku became Fleet Admiral, huh? Time really flies!"

The young Garp, paying no mind to dignity, sat on the ground. When he saw his white-haired future self sitting alone beside the execution platform,

the usually carefree man slapped his thigh and burst out laughing.

Garp's adaptability was truly astonishing—in the midst of that hearty laughter, he had already calmly accepted the fact that he'd one day become an old man.

"Wait... something's not right!"

A puzzled voice rang out, and Garp's laughter suddenly stopped. He shot to his feet, thick eyebrows knitted tightly...

"Why am I sitting there? At a time like that, I should be on the battlefield!"

On the light screen, his white-haired self was gripping his fists hard while seated beside the execution platform.

That face, always roaring with hearty laughter, was now shrouded in unprecedented struggle and pain.

[In this war, everyone's hearts were incredibly heavy, but if anyone suffered the most inner conflict and torment, it was undoubtedly Grandpa Garp...]

[Back when Pirate King Roger turned himself in, he had a fate-altering conversation with Garp in a dim prison cell. Shockingly, Roger completely set aside their opposing positions, entrusting his unborn son—later known as Ace—to Garp as if he were entrusting family!]

"Whoa!!!!" [four exclamations]

This bombshell dropped, instantly causing a massive uproar across the entire space.

Roger had entrusted his own bloodline to the Marine who'd chased him his entire life?!

This mind-boggling absurdity defied all common sense—everyone present was left stunned speechless.

Even the two people directly involved were dumbfounded.

"Wh... what?!" The future Pirate King, Gol D. Roger, froze completely, his trademark grin stiffening.

He incredulously dug at his ear, then whipped his head toward the equally petrified Garp beside him, voice cracking: "Garp! You... what the hell did you do to me in the future?!

How could I possibly entrust my son... to a bastard like you?!"

Young Garp's mouth gaped wide enough to fit a fist. He pointed at the light screen, stammering: "Bullshit! This light screen is spouting nonsense!

"Roger, have you lost your mind? I'm a Marine! A Marine! How could I possibly help you raise your kid?!"

As the two principals vehemently denied it and the crowd erupted in chaos, the reactions from several future sea overlords were even more intense.

"Jiehahahaha, this is gonna kill me laughing!"

"But wait—Roger, why would you turn yourself in? What happens in the future? And why are you called the Pirate King?"

The sharp, manic laughter came first from Golden Lion Shiki, but after laughing he quickly noticed something off.

He was yelling from midair, but Roger had no mood to answer him right now.

Moreover, even Roger himself had no idea why his future self would surrender.

Even if you asked him, he couldn't explain it!

"Wororororo~ This is getting more and more interesting. Roger, you actually entrusted this Ace to Garp—are you doing performance art?"

Big Mom was equally shocked and baffled by Roger's future decision.

Logically speaking, Roger should have left Ace to be raised by his Roger Pirates crewmates!

"Mama-ma-ma-ma!, kids are such a hassle. If I ever have a son later, I'll train him into the strongest man!"

Looking at the light screen, Kaido couldn't help fantasizing about leading his own son into battle in the future.

Rayleigh: "Roger, this..."

Scopper Gaban: "How could you entrust your kid to Garp?"

The rest of the Roger Pirates crew: "Yeah, we could've helped raise him too, Captain!"

Rayleigh, Scopper, and the entire Roger Pirates crew couldn't fathom what future Roger was thinking—there was no logic to it at all.

Roger, seeing this, jumped in agitation: "No way! Future me must have had some compelling reason! Garp, you bastard—did you use some kind of hypnosis on me?"

Garp's eyebrows shot up in fury: "Bullshit! I'm the one who should be asking you—did you pull some dirty trick to ruin my reputation in my old age?!"

The two lifelong rivals, for once, stood on the same side, shouting at the light screen: "This is absolutely impossible!"

"Ace, I'm coming to save you right now!!!!"

Just as Roger and Garp looked ready to come to blows, a young boy's voice reached both of them—and everyone else in God Valley!

Ace: "Luffy!!!"

Garp: "Luffy...???"

On the light screen, the battle situation shifted slightly with Straw Hat Luffy's dramatic arrival from the sky.

But when everyone saw this boy, they noticed the elderly Garp seated at the execution platform blowing snot bubbles.

Ace, kneeling nearby, loudly responded to his little brother.

"Hold on—that hat looks way too familiar!?"

Roger raised an eyebrow at Luffy, but when he saw the straw hat hanging around the boy's neck, Roger's eyes bulged wide.

Yet no one present could answer the question.

With Luffy's appearance, Garp—and not far away, Monkey D. Dragon holding Shanks and Shamrock—stared at that face, momentarily stunned!

Later, both father and son saw Luffy get injured, and their heartbeats simultaneously skipped half a beat!

"No—this straw hat kid, who is he? I can sort of accept feeling heartbroken over Fire Fist Ace, but why does this guy's injury make my heart ache so much too!?"

Garp struggled to process the fact that he'd raise Roger's child in the future, but Luffy's appearance completely broke him!

"Garp, another one of your relatives!"

"Aaaah... Luffy!"

Sengoku grumbled at Garp beside him, and with Sengoku's explanation, everyone in God Valley grew even more curious about Luffy's background.

Naturally including Garp and his son Dragon.

"This one must be eliminated too—he's the sworn brother who grew up with Ace..."

"His bloodline belongs to the most vicious criminal in the world—the revolutionary, Dragon's own biological son!"

"Whoa!!!"

Garp: "What!! Σ(゚д゚;)"

Dragon: "Huh? Σ(゚д゚;)!"

When Sengoku revealed Straw Hat Luffy's parentage, young Garp's snot bubble streamed out!

On the other side, Dragon—upon hearing this straw hat boy was his son—nearly dropped the two infants in his arms from sheer shock!

What truly stunned Dragon wasn't that Luffy was his son, but that he himself had become a revolutionary in the future.

And from Uncle Sengoku's tone, it was clear his future exploits must have been incredibly impressive!

Although this event had indeed left Dragon disillusioned with the Marines and World Government, becoming a revolutionary...

This was just too surreal!
