Chapter 20 - What is strength points....

The manager looked at Samuel and said,

"Your flight will depart in three days. Prepare yourself."

Samuel stood up confidently.

"Perfect."

As he walked out of the office, his mind was already focused on the next battlefield.

Africa.

A land filled with danger, chaos, and opportunity.

"Hey, wait!" the manager called out from inside.

Samuel stopped immediately and turned back.

"Eh? Sorry, my bad," he said, walking back inside quickly. "What is it, sir?"

The manager folded his arms.

"For a mission of this scale, you shouldn't go alone," he said. "You will have partners. Their names are Robin and Hobin."

Samuel raised an eyebrow.

"Partners, huh… Are they strong?"

The manager leaned back in his chair.

"And first, stop calling me 'manager' instead, it will better if you call me Viktor."

Samuel nodded slightly.

"Alright… Viktor."

Viktor continued,

"Your current strength level is around 200. But to truly be considered strong, you need to surpass 400."

He paused for a moment before continuing.

"As for Robin and Hobin… they are brothers. Their strength is also around 200, but their coordination makes them more dangerous than most fighters."

Samuel thought about it for a second.

"So they fight together?"

"Exactly," Viktor replied. "Individually, they are strong. Together, they are much more dangerous."

Samuel gave a small nod.

"Then I have no problem working with them."

Viktor smiled faintly.

"Good. Come back after two days. We will finalize everything."

"As you say." Samuel replied

But after a few seconds, Viktor suddenly asked "Aaa..Why are you still standing there?" he asked awkwardly.

Samuel blinked,

"Damn… sorry," he said quickly, rushing out of the office.

As he walked through the hallway, he let out a deep breath.

"That was awkward," he muttered to himself.

He rubbed the back of his neck and sighed.

But soon, his expression turned serious again.

A new mission.

New enemies.

And now…

New allies.

In India… the next day

Saim looked at Kane.

"So tomorrow is our flight, right?"

"Yes!" Kane replied with energy.

Garayon stood nearby, watching them quietly.

Then he looked at Kane.

"Kane… do you know something?"

Kane tilted his head.

"Something? What do you mean?"

Garayon stepped forward slightly.

"You are coming with us to Japan."

Kane froze for a second.

"What? Really?" he shouted, his eyes lighting up.

Garayon nodded.

"Yes. We are taking you with us."

Kane looked confused.

"But why me?"

Garayon answered calmly.

"Because you are from the Kuza branch… from the Ukuza clan."

Kane shrugged.

"Yeah… so what?"

Garayon's eyes sharpened slightly.

"That's exactly why we have planned to take you. You have potential. People from that clan are not ordinary."

He paused briefly.

"And from now on, you will be our partner."

Kane crossed his arms.

"Huh? You didn't even ask me."

Garayon smirked faintly.

"Do I need to? You're alive because we wanted you alive."

Kane stared at him for a moment.

Then he laughed lightly.

"Fair enough."

He looked forward with determination.

"Fine. I'll work with you… until I find my true place."

His voice became more confident.

"A place where I rule everything."

He extended his hand.

"Deal?"

Garayon looked at his hand, then shook it.

"Deal."

Raj, who had been watching silently, shook his head.

"Why does this feel like a drama?"

Saim laughed.

"It really does."

Kane smirked.

"Shut up."

Garayon suddenly became serious.

"Hey… I have a question."

Raj raised an eyebrow.

"Go ahead."

Garayon looked directly at him.

"What exactly is this 'strength point' everyone keeps talking about?"

Raj looked at Garayon carefully.

Then he took a slow breath.

"That… is something you all need to understand."

Raj crossed his arms and looked at all of them before speaking.

"Strength points are actually very simple," he began calmly. "It's the total measure of your physical power. It tells you how strong you truly are in raw terms."

He paused for a moment to let it sink in.

"An average person usually has a strength point of minimum 10 to maximum 100. A trained fighter starts from around 200 and can go up to 500."

Saim listened carefully, his expressions were serious.

"And beyond that… people like Haider exist," Raj continued. "Those monsters can reach above 1000 strength points. And anything beyond that… isn't humanly possible."

A brief silence filled the air.

"So… what about us?" Saim asked quietly.

Raj looked at him.

"You all are around 200 right now. Maybe slightly above or below. But if you want to fight real threats… you need to reach at least 500."

Kane let out a low whistle.

"That's more than double."

"Exactly," Raj replied. "And it won't be easy."

Kane then leaned forward slightly.

"What about Samuel… and you?"

Raj smirked faintly.

"Samuel is a solid fighter. His strength point is already above 200."

He then pointed at himself.

"As for me… I'm around 400."

Saim's eyes widened a little.

"400? That's high."

Raj shrugged.

"Not enough. I'm still training."

Garayon, who had been silent until now, finally spoke.

"Then what about group leaders?" he asked. "If workers are this weak, what's the point of a leader?"

Raj nodded, as if expecting the question.

"It's a bit complicated," he said. "But generally, a group leader ranges between 200 and 300 strength points. Sometimes when the group is bigger the leader may have maximum 600 points"

Saim frowned.

"Then how we managed to fight all these enemies."

Raj smiled slightly.

"I knew you'd say that."

"Strength points only measure raw power. They don't define your entire fighting ability."

Everyone focused on him.

"Technique, experience, battle IQ, endurance… all of these matter just as much sometimes even more," Raj continued. "That's why, even at your current level, you were able to defeat those groups."

Garayon nodded slowly, understanding.

"So even if someone has higher points… they're not unbeatable."

"Exactly," Raj said. "A smarter fighter can take down a stronger one."

Kane stretched his arms lazily.

"Still sounds boring," he said with a yawn.

Saim chuckled.

"You're just lazy."

Kane smirked.

"Maybe."
