Morning sunlight slowly filled the living room.
Jay shifted slightly on the couch.
Warm.
Something warm was around her.
She frowned softly, still half asleep.
Then she realized.
An arm.
Around her waist.
Jay's eyes opened slowly.
Keifer.
He was still asleep beside her.
His head slightly tilted toward her. His arm wrapped around her like he never wanted to let go.
Jay blinked.
They… fell asleep like this.
Her heart beat a little faster.
She tried to move carefully so she wouldn't wake him.
Slowly… slowly…
His arm tightened.
Jay froze.
Keifer pulled her closer without opening his eyes.
"Stay."
His voice was deep. Sleepy. Soft.
Jay's heart melted.
"I'm not going anywhere," she whispered.
He relaxed again, still half asleep.
Jay smiled softly.
She watched him for a moment.
He looked peaceful.
Calm.
Not the serious CEO everyone feared.
Just Keifer.
Her Keifer.
She carefully moved a strand of hair from his forehead.
"You look softer when you're asleep," she whispered.
He didn't respond.
Still asleep.
Jay leaned back into him.
Quiet.
Comfortable.
Then—
The front door opened.
Jay froze.
Footsteps.
Jay's eyes widened.
No.
No no no.
Aries walked into the apartment holding a coffee.
He stopped.
He blinked.
Once.
Twice.
He slowly turned around.
"I regret everything."
Jay buried her face in her hands.
"Aries—"
Too late.
Percy appeared behind him.
"What happened—"
He saw them.
His grin slowly spread.
"Oh… this is beautiful."
Jay groaned. "Why are you both here so early?"
Aries pointed at them.
"Why are YOU both like this so early?"
Keifer finally opened his eyes.
Calm.
Completely calm.
He looked at Aries.
Then Percy.
Then back at Jay.
"Morning."
Jay turned red. "Morning…"
Percy crossed his arms proudly.
"I knew it. I predicted this."
Aries rolled his eyes. "You predict everything."
Percy nodded proudly. "Because I'm always right."
Jay tried to sit up.
Keifer didn't let go.
Aries sighed.
"I'm going to pretend this is normal."
Percy pulled out his phone.
"Oh this is definitely going in the group chat."
Jay pointed at him.
"Don't you dare."
Percy already typing.
Too late.
Jay dropped her head back onto Keifer's shoulder.
"This is embarrassing."
Keifer looked down at her.
His thumb brushed her hand gently.
"I don't mind."
Jay looked at him.
Her heart softened again.
Aries groaned.
"Please stop being cute. It's too early."
Percy grinned.
"Never too early for romance."
Jay sighed.
"This family is impossible."
Keifer almost smiled.
"Our family."
Jay smiled softly.
Yeah.
Their family.
