Cassian stood in front of Lucien's desk, staring at the Duke's work.
"You know, I've been standing here for a while," he said.
"You spoke to Elian..." Lucien slowly lifted his face, "About Leonard."
Cassian furrowed his brows in confusion. "I barely mentioned him. We never delved deeper into it."
"I need you to delve into it," Lucien stated, dropping his quill.
"Excuse me?" Cassian frowned. "You want me to look into a cook for you?"
Lucien nodded. "Not only looking into him, you will bring him to me, and I don't want the king questioning. Give him a genuine reason." He ordered.
Cassian chuckled. "I am a captain, Your Grace. I can find a guard to bring him to you. However, I doubt the king will want to let Leonard leave; he is the one who makes his food–"
"Find a way, Cassian... unless you do not want your sister's revenge," Lucien said calculatedly.
