Chapter 2 - A new Journey

The moment the zombie's hand touched the ring on Farabi's hand, its body suddenly turned into dust. The air became quiet. Farabi felt something strange—his hand felt light, as if no force was pushing against it anymore.

Slowly, Farabi opened his eyes.

There was no zombie.

Farabi froze in shock. He stared at his hands again and again, unable to understand what had just happened. His fingers were trembling as he spoke to himself in a low voice.

"How did my hands become so light?"

"Did that strange man… enter inside me?"

As he was talking to himself, a calm voice echoed around him.

"No. The zombie did not enter your body."

Farabi's heart jumped. Fear rushed through him. He stood up quickly and looked around in every direction.

"Who are you?" Farabi shouted.

"Come out in front of me!"

"Or I will kill you!"

The voice spoke again, slow and clear.

"I am right here… in the ring on your hand."

Farabi looked down at the ring in disbelief.

"You are inside my ring?" he asked.

"Yes," the voice replied.

"Because my body has already turned into this ring."

Farabi clenched his fist.

"If you are really inside my father's ring," he said angrily,

"then show yourself to me."

Suddenly, magic flowed out from the ring. A soft light spread in front of Farabi, and a small figure appeared. It was Avicenna, now in a weak and lion form.

"My name is Avicenna," he said calmly.

"Who are you, boy?"

Farabi stared at him with wide eyes.

"My name is Farabi."

Farabi looked at Avicenna carefully and asked in shock,

"You are… a baby lion?"

Avicenna shook his head.

"No. I am a Manan."

Farabi frowned.

"What is a Manan?"

"A Manan existed thousands of years ago," Avicenna replied.

"They were hybrids of humans and animals."

Farabi was confused.

"Then why were you in the form of a lion?"

Avicenna lowered his head.

"My powers are gone."

Farabi paused for a moment, then spoke again.

"Then… you were the five-headed lion I saw fighting?"

"Yes," Avicenna said quietly.

"I was that five-headed lion."

Hearing this, Farabi's emotions burst out. Anger filled his eyes.

"Because of you, my father died!" Farabi shouted.

"Why did you kill him?!"

Avicenna looked at Farabi seriously.

"I did not kill your father."

"But you came out of the lava!" Farabi said angrily.

Avicenna took a deep breath.

"I was sleeping deep inside the lava for thousands of years," he said.

"My duty was to protect the stone… the stone that was stolen."

Farabi calmed down slightly.

"What was special about that stone?" he asked.

Avicenna looked into Farabi's eyes.

"That stone was called the Mortal Stone," he said.

"It doubles human power and turns them into zombies."

Farabi's eyes widened.

"And the soul of that human," Avicenna continued,

"goes to the person who holds the stone. That makes the stone holder even stronger."

Farabi listened carefully. He believed Avicenna's words. There was no lie in his eyes.

Avicenna looked at Farabi for a moment and then asked,

"Will you become my student?"

Farabi was shocked.

"But I don't have any powers," he replied.

"What can you even teach me?"

Avicenna smiled slightly.

"I still have my powers," he said.

"They are inside me. If my body still existed, I would be far more powerful. But even now, I can teach you."

Farabi stayed silent for a moment.

Then he nodded.

"Yes," Farabi said.

"I will become your student."

They decided to leave that place together. Farabi looked happier than before. He was going to gain powers… and he had found a teacher.

As they walked, Avicenna asked him,

"Tell me, Farabi. What kind of magic do you like the most?"

Farabi answered without thinking.

"I like space manipulation," he said.

"My father used that magic. It was amazing."

Avicenna nodded.

"Good," he said.

"We will start your training tomorrow."

When Farabi heard the word training, excitement filled his heart.

"This is going to be fun," he said with a small smile.

They entered a tunnel and stayed there for the night.

When morning came, Farabi stepped outside the tunnel.

Suddenly, he froze.

Dozens of wolves were standing in front of him.

Fear rushed through his body.

"Ahhh!" Farabi screamed.

The scream echoed inside the tunnel.

Avicenna woke up immediately and came out of the ring.
