"Yes!" Dodoria shuddered.
As he spoke, his figure flickered and vanished from where he stood, instantly appearing behind Goku.
"Die!" Dodoria sneered, extending his claws toward Goku's back.
Goku didn't even turn around.
He simply kicked backward.
"Bang!"
The kick landed squarely on Dodoria's bloated face.
His features twisted grotesquely, more than a dozen teeth flying out as he crashed to the ground and passed out on the spot.
"What?!" Zarbon was stunned. He never imagined Dodoria would be defeated so easily.
"Oh? Interesting." Frieza's interest was piqued. He smiled as he studied Goku.
"Frieza, it's our turn now, isn't it?" Goku took a deep breath, then said thoughtfully, "Come to think of it, I've never seen you in this form before."
Frieza froze for a moment.
What do you mean, you've never seen me like this?
"If I hadn't recognized your aura, I wouldn't have known it was you," Goku added with a grin.
"What's your name?" Frieza asked coldly.
"Son Goku," Goku replied.
"Son Goku?" Frieza paused.
The name sounded familiar.
But he couldn't remember where he'd heard it.
And this face… it also seemed familiar.
Where had he seen it before?
What Frieza didn't know was that he had once seen Goku's father, Bardock.
Back when Frieza destroyed Planet Vegeta, Bardock had resisted desperately.
In the end, Bardock vanished along with Frieza's planet-destroying blast.
Zarbon suddenly widened his eyes and hurried forward.
"Lord Frieza! He's from Earth! Vegeta went to Earth to look for him!" Zarbon reported.
"Earth?" Frieza frowned slightly. "From here to Earth, even with Vegeta's ship, it takes over ten days. Didn't Vegeta only arrive there today?"
"Yes! That's what makes it strange!" Zarbon muttered. "If he just got there today, how did this guy get here?"
"Why don't we just ask?" Frieza snorted.

"Did you come from Earth?" Frieza asked with a smile.
"Yes," Goku nodded. "By the way, I'm a Saiyan who grew up on Earth. Vegeta calls me Kakarot."
Zarbon: "..."
This guy's an idiot… He actually said it.
"Oh? A Saiyan?" Frieza looked surprised. He rubbed his nose and examined Goku with interest. "So, what do you want with me?"
Zarbon: "..."
Lord Frieza, don't get sidetracked!
Weren't you supposed to ask how he got here so fast?
"Frieza, you should stop doing evil things," Goku said seriously. "You're planning to go to Namek for the Dragon Balls, right?"
"Hmph. You know quite a lot," Frieza sneered. "Who told you?"
"The Namekian people can't be wiped out because of you again," Goku ignored the question. His expression grew solemn. "Let's settle this here."
"What arrogance!" Frieza fumed. "You're the first Saiyan who dares challenge me! Today, I'll show you what it means to oppose Lord Frieza!"
"Whoosh!"
As soon as he finished speaking, two streaks of light shot from Frieza's eyes at incredible speed.
Goku casually slapped them away with his hand.
"What?!" Frieza's eyes widened in disbelief.
He stared at the deflected beams.
"How… how is that possible?" Zarbon cried out in shock.
Lord Frieza's attack was knocked aside?!
Am I seeing things?!
"Where did he go?" Frieza looked back and realized Goku had vanished.
He immediately scanned the area.
Zarbon also searched frantically.
He had been right in front of Lord Frieza just now.
How did he disappear in an instant?
Then Zarbon noticed something.
That orange figure had silently appeared behind Frieza.
"F-Fr-Fr—!" Zarbon stiffened, stammering as he pointed behind Frieza, his face turning pale.
"Frieza, I won't hold back!" Goku laughed.
He grabbed Frieza's tail, stepped on the hover pod, and yanked him out.
"Crack!"
The hover pod shattered into pieces.
"Bang!"
Goku slammed Frieza into the ground by his tail.
"Aaaagh!"
Frieza screamed in pain as agony surged through his body.
"Bang!"
Goku followed up with a powerful kick, launching Frieza into the sky.
Frieza tumbled countless times before stopping, his eyes bloodshot and his face twisted with fury.
This was the first time he had ever suffered such humiliation.
"You've got to be kidding…" Zarbon was completely stunned.
The soldiers lying on the ground stared in shock.
Terrifying…
No wonder we couldn't beat him.
Even Lord Frieza was kicked into the sky.
"Frieza, show me what you've really got!" Goku shouted.
This time, Goku had come to fight Frieza seriously—to recover his strength as quickly as possible.
At this stage, he and Frieza weren't that far apart.
Although Frieza's final form had a twenty-million power advantage, Goku was confident he could grow stronger during battle.
More importantly, he desperately wanted his tail to grow back.

Goku vanished in an instant and reappeared above Frieza.
He slammed his knee straight into Frieza's head.
"Boom!"
Frieza's head twisted violently.
He crashed into the ground, leaving behind a bottomless crater.
