Frieza flipped backward in midair, barely steadying himself, his teeth clenched in hatred.
But just as he was about to counterattack, Goku swung an uppercut.
"Bang!"
The punch smashed into Frieza's chin.
Before he could react, Goku followed up with a powerful kick, sending him flying backward.
Frieza halted himself in midair, baring his teeth in fury. Raising one hand, he fired a blazing crimson beam.
"Whoosh!"
The beam shot straight toward Goku.
Goku didn't even bother dodging.
He let it strike his chin directly.
His head tilted back slightly—
Then returned to normal.
As if nothing had happened.
He smiled calmly at Frieza.
Frieza: "..."
He was completely stunned, trembling from head to toe.
"Y-You… are you really a Super Saiyan?" Frieza cried out, his lips shaking.
"Yeah." Goku nodded, then scratched his head in frustration. "But this won't do, Frieza. You're too weak. I wasn't even trying and I already surpassed you… Even if you use all your strength now, you're probably not my match anymore. Still, I should thank you."
"Y-You… what did you say?!" Frieza roared, shaking with rage.
Was that even something a person could say?
"Y-You could've turned Super Saiyan long ago, couldn't you?!" Frieza growled, eyes bloodshot.
"Yep." Goku nodded. "So how about you train more first, then fight me again?"
"You… You're mocking me, aren't you?!" Frieza snapped.
"I mean it honestly. Your level isn't good enough right now," Goku replied. "Train some more, then I'll come fight you."
"Y-You…!" Frieza trembled violently.
"And don't go to Namek," Goku added with a smile. "Stay here and train. When you're stronger, I'll come back."
"You—! Stop right there!" Frieza shouted.
"Hmm? Something else?" Goku asked.
"Hmph! You think I've lost to you?" Frieza sneered. Then he laughed coldly. "I can survive in space. Can you Saiyans do that?"
As he spoke, Frieza immediately formed a massive planet-destroying sphere and hurled it toward the ground.
I will never allow a Super Saiyan to live.
I'll wipe him out completely.
"Destroy this planet!" Frieza roared.
The massive energy sphere plunged downward with terrifying momentum.
Once it hit, the planet would be annihilated.
Zarbon: "..."
Dodoria: "..."
Both of them trembled violently.
With their power levels, even though they could survive in space, they would still die in a planetary explosion.
Goku: "..."
"Shua!"
Goku instantly appeared beneath the falling sphere and kicked upward.
"Whoosh!"
The planet-destroying bomb was sent flying into space, drifting away until it vanished.
Frieza was utterly dumbfounded, his face growing darker.

He collapsed limply to the ground, completely unconscious.
"I told you not to destroy planets. Why won't you listen?" Goku shook his head.
Then he glanced at the trembling Zarbon and Dodoria.
The moment his gaze swept over them, their faces turned pale green.
They clutched each other in terror, lips twitching.
"Hey, you two," Goku said, returning to his normal form.
Their hair stood on end. A chill shot from their feet to their heads.
"When Frieza wakes up, tell him to stay here and train. Don't go to Namek for the Dragon Balls. Got it?"
Zarbon and Dodoria nodded frantically, afraid they'd be killed if they were too slow.
"Shua!"
After speaking, Goku used Instant Transmission and vanished.
It took a full minute after Goku left before Zarbon and Dodoria finally came back to their senses.
They looked at each other, feeling as if they had just survived a catastrophe.
That Super Saiyan…
He actually spared us?
Terrifying.
Absolutely terrifying.
So this is what a Super Saiyan is like.
Lord Frieza wasn't even close to being his match.
Shaking, the two walked over and gently nudged Frieza.
"Ah…"
Frieza shuddered violently and snapped his eyes open.
His pupils contracted sharply.
But soon, confusion appeared in his gaze as he stared blankly at Zarbon and Dodoria.
"Zarbon? Dodoria?" Frieza murmured, his mind sluggish.
"Lord Frieza!"
The two immediately knelt, trembling.
He'd been beaten into such a miserable state…
His majestic image was completely shattered.
Would he silence us to save face?
"Where… is this place?" Frieza looked around, frowning deeply.
Zarbon and Dodoria exchanged glances.
Lord Frieza… did that Super Saiyan knock something loose in his head?
"This… this is your Planet No. 79, Lord Frieza," Zarbon replied bravely.
"Planet No. 79? Not hell?" Frieza froze.
Zarbon: "????"
Dodoria: "????"
They were even more confused now.
Yep.
Definitely brain damage.
"Why does my whole body hurt so much?" Frieza asked again.
The two exchanged looks, full of fear.
This was not something they dared to answer honestly.
If they said he'd been beaten senseless by a Super Saiyan, he might take it out on them.
"When… when did you two get revived?" Frieza suddenly asked.
Zarbon: "????"
Dodoria: "????"
They were completely lost.
