After a while of chatting and gossiping about random things with Leilani, Nyssa finally felt sleepy. She yawned twice and Leilani chuckled.
"Guess Her Highness needs a bed rest."
Nyssa gave her a cheeky smile and then stood up, "You should come inside too."
Leilani nodded, letting out a deep sigh, "Yeah. But…I want to stay here for a little bit. It's quite comfortable."
Nyssa tilted her head slightly, "Alright then," she turned walking inside, "Goodnight Leila."
"Night," Leilani whispered watching her retreat and then she turned her gaze back to the night sky.
Hours later, Nyssa laid on her side within the hut, as the night air drifted softly through the small openings in the walls and the windows.
Leilani had long since fallen asleep as well and everywhere was quiet and calm.
The moment Nyssa's eyes finally gave in to sleep, she felt a sudden jolt. As if she had fallen down a height and she gasped, with her eyes snapping open.
