That night Nyssa had stayed up awake, reading through some parchments given to her by Zuleika.
She was trying to understand most things that were blurred to her, both intelligent - wise and skill wise.
Remembering the last conversation with the Chief before they went back home, Nyssa's gaze fluttered upwards.
She then stood up and walked to the open windows, with arms folded loosely and her gaze fixed on the night sky.
"The mind rarely rests after remembering what it was forced to forget. You seem so confused and aware at the same time."
She remembered the Chief's words.
Nyssa glanced at him. "Well, I can't help it, can I ?"
He shook his head. "No. But you'll have to learn to carry the mighty power."
Nyssa twitched her lips and her fingers curled slightly.
"And him. What do you think I should do?"
The Chief's gaze sharpened, but he said nothing.
Nyssa continued, looking him in the eyes.
"He deserves death. But Zuleika doesn't want me to avenge."
