Rana had just returned from school and her parents were both out for some reasons she didn't know. It was quite unusual for the both to leave the house at the same time , though she didn't take it serious cause wherever they were they were sure to come back to the house but today was different altogether.
Rana's dad( Jimmy) had gone out to do an official project and came back only to find out that his wife Janet was missing he was completely shocked and dumbfounded.
He paced to and fro until he got to the freezer and found a written note that told him that his wife was kidnapped.
Immediately he got the signal he knew who it was. It was Myles Barkley. The letter said he should come to the warehouse were they normally meetup.
Not quite long Jimmy arrived at the venue in sweaty clothes he met his boss Myles but his wife Janet wasn't there and then he became more confused thinking that his wife was already killed by Myles then the croaked voice of Myles interrupted his flailing thoughts.
"You thought you could disobey the orders of Myles and go unscathed never, you should know fully well that no one dares to disobey my orders now you have to pay for the consequence".
"Where is my wife Myles?" Jimmy asked in an informal way. "How dare you talk to me like that".
Thundered Myles, "well,she is in the inner room but you would only see her on one condition and it is if you use your own hands to kill her.
Do you agree with my condition?" "Yes sir I agree"."Then go on in and finish up the work, but if you don't I would have to kill the both of you".
Jimmy left his presence in a haste and entered into the inner room where he was told his wife was, she was tied to a chair with both legs and hands.
Jimmy got there and loosed her up and was about to leave with her when she asked him "Jim who are these guys,what do you have to do with them and why are you here in sweaty clothes? ", "Janet I would explain everything to you later ".
" Jim there is no later can't you see?" "That's true your lives ends here and now, such a simple task you were given and you couldn't even carry it out what a shame".
Meanwhile, Rana was at home waiting for her parents at the front of the house oblivious of the tragedy that has just occured.
Few minutes later a stranger appeared before her. It was Myles.
Rana looked puzzled and dumbfounded at the sight of the strange man.
He then introduced himself as her uncle and told her that her parents had gone on an impromptu business.
From then she began to live with the murderer Myles whom she thought of as her uncle.
